ACcolor Case Fits All-New Kindle Oasis 2019, Folio Smart Cover Leather Case with Auto Wake Sleep Feature for Kindle Oasis (10th Generation, 2019 Release & 9th Generation, 2017 Release), Black

Looks good and protects my kindle well. If I had one criticism, it would be that the ‘waking up’ function does not always work.

I was a bit sceptical concerning this case before I bought it. Now so far I like it. It’s very comfortable to hold it and it offers great protection for my Oasis. What I dislike about this case is its weight. It’s heavy and bulky. I believe this case has great potential if the designers slim it down a bit. The other thing worth consideration is how easily the top part moves around when closed, causing kindle to wake up. It has happened to me on a number of occasions at home. Now, I haven’t travelled with my Kindle yet but I’m sure that when I have it in my backpack it's going to behave in a similar way or probably even worse. This could cause potential battery drain.

I took the black leather option. It looks and feels like leather and is very well made. It fits well, however, the Oasis has the thick and thin part of the device - the cover makes it all equally thick.

To be honest, many of the less desirable features of this would apply to any Oasis cover. The best feature of an Oasis is the thick ridge that allows good handling whilst reading and all covers negate this. You may as well buy a Paperwhite, save some cash if you want to use a cover.I use this when away from home to protect the kindle, I put it in a drawer at home.Batter life is shocking with the cover, so as the lid moves, it keeps waking up the device. Battery life on an Oasis is disappointing to begin with but…Still, it’s easy ish to hold with this cover, it certainly protects it in my luggage and looks fine, decent quality.

This is a very sturdy case offering excellent protection. Looks good and is very comfortable to hold whilst reading. Unfortunately though I found that when shut, it didn't take much movement (ie simply changing hand) for the device to come out of sleep mode when still kept closed by the strong magnet. Not something you'd easily notice and I did only by chance when the room was dark and after subsequent testing. I'd imagine if being transported in a backpack / handbag etc where there could be a lot of movement this could cause the battery to run down quicker. Such a shame as I really did like this case but have had to send back.

Whilst not as lightweight as I would have liked it fit my Kindle perfectly and is easy to carry and use, I found the Kindle without it to appear fragile (though it isn't). Also a little slippery to hold.This cures both those problems and is a great buy which coverts the Kindle into a real book.

Couldn’t understand why my new Kindle needed charging every 2 or 3 days then realised the auto sleep was turning it on and off when not in use. May be because the opening cover was quite loose. On the plus idea it looked and felt quite good but I couldn’t put up with having to charge all the time so it was returned for refund.

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent quality product and great value for money. It encases the Kindle Oasis perfectly without adding too much weight, enabling me to hold the device comfortably in one hand. I would highly recommend it.
