The base of this device is made of lightweight plastic while the burner portion is glass and the long flexible tube is a heavier rubber-type material. Consequently, the whole thing is top-heavy, even when filled a third or so with water, and easily tips over (spilling water) when not in use. I've placed it in a drinking glass to prevent tippage and the product does what it's supposed to do, but this is a significant flaw in the product's design.

Works Well. As others state it is a little top heavy so be careful. Also instructions to put together would help. Took me awhile to find out it had a lid to remover before putting together

Liked the design, in every way
