Paint and other weakly adhering elements must be removed. Remove all old sealants and any products that may affect adhesion. Sika Sanisil Rapid is supplied ready for use, after the necessary preparation of the supports, install in the joint at the required depth, a Sika JOINT FOUNDATION with a cross-section adapted to the width of the joint. Cut off the conical end of the cartridge tip on which the installation cannula is screwed. Then cut the bevel to the desired diameter. Apply the sealant as a continuous joint, avoiding any air inclusion with a manual, pneumatic gun or electric. Tighten the sealant against the substrates and immediately afterwards smooth the surface with a spatula before that a skin is formed, avoiding crushing the joint so that runoff water flows naturally.
