iMaxAlarm SOS Alert Personal Alarm - 130dB Alarm - Safety & Security Emergency Device - Matte Blue

Since I received my iMaxAlarm I have not left home without it! I find myself getting home late from work and I love the sense of security I get from walking through the streets at night. My favorite thing about this alarm is that it came with a lanyard that you can wear around your neck. I love going hiking and having my iMax Alarm hanging from neck really gives me the confidence to go off trail! The Alarm is so loud that anyone will be able to hear me if I get lost! It's also more discreet and convenient that pepper spray. I am getting my mom and sisters all one. They make great gifts!

I had this for about 6 months before I lost it. There is a fundamental issue with the way this thing attaches to your keychain etc, because the pin itself, which you are supposed to pull in an emergency , is the part that you attach to your keychain .So I took the dogs out for a walk and I came back with only the pin on my keychain . The larger alarm portion was gone, which I should have realized, because when you pull the two pieces apart the alarm supposed to go off .The alarm did not go off when they disconnected, so I had a false sense of security walking around with this thing. There is no low battery indicator (chirping) or anything that would’ve told me that it wasn’t functioning.

I wish it were louder. It’s just annoying, I didn’t have to cover my ears.

Although higher decibels than I have purchased in the past, sound does not seem as loud or screeching for help. Bystander may not be alarmed by sound.

I just moved in to my first apartment. Purchased this to have added security for when I go to the fitness center or laundry center or get home late at night etc. The sound is LOUD which is great. I also like that it came with a lanyard. The device is easy enough to pull and trigger the alarm but not so easy that it would accidentally sound. Only thing I did not like was that batteries are not replaceable. You have to get a new device. It does come with a one year warranty. The battery should last for 30 minutes according to the annual. It is recommended to test device monthly to make sure battery is still good. Overall I like this product and would recommend. It's a bonus that it comes in rose gold and is attractive in design.

I feel so much safer with her having one of these. Our daughter is a senior in high school and she cleans up a restaurant after closing. I was concerned about not being there. My wife reminded me that other employees lived nearby the restaurant and could hear this if she had to use it. Thanks for bringing some comfort in a crazy world!

This gizmo will bust an eardrum and that's exactly what it should do! everyone should have one of these ... it really is worth every penny

I bought this alarm for my wife. The product arrived quickly. The iMAxAlarm feels light but solid. The lanyard and carabiner included in the box are a very nice touch. Other than personal alarm, I can think of many other potential uses for this product...perhaps as a jerry-rigged door alarm with zip ties in a hotel room when I travel.
