Mauna LoaMacadamia Baking Pieces, Dry Roasted, 6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4)

I have bought whole before and i got better quality i think. A number of the pieces in the first bag have darker spots thru the nut (not on the surface). I won't say they are bad, but it has stopped me from sticking my hand in blindly and shaking some into my mouth. They were cheaper but i thought it was purely for the decorative aspect of the whole nut vs pieces. And it doesn't look like we got all the regected areas shaved off full ones, but it looks like a few of the discarded pieces got in.I'd love to hear from the manufacturer on how to tell which colored pieces are or aren't best to eat but I've just over the years had the occasional tastes bad nut of various types that has me adverse to trying. Disclaimer being that i will break off the obviously dark spots and any noticed green spots on any times i treat myself to potato chips.

Great tasting macadamia nuts, perfect for baking...or adding to trail mix...or just eating straight from the bag.My 14yr old daughter loves macadamia nuts, although as everyone knows, theyre not cheap(no nuts are, but macadamias are even moreso).When I found these macadamias on Amazon s&s, I couldnt have been happier. I get them every month on s&s for such a great price!!My daughter now has all the macadamias she could want, I add them to cookies, quick breads, granola bars, and other baked goods. She eats them straight from the bag, and she makes trail mix from a variety of homemade granola, chocolate(white, dark, milk), a variety of dried fruit, etc(not all in the same batch, it varies each time depending on what shes in the mood for).This is a great healthy snacking addition as well as a great addition to baked goods.

I have bought these a couple times, went to purchase again and the price has almost doubled! These nuts are sooo good for you, but won't be reordering at this price, will wait and see if it drops. Shame, as I eat them almost every day.

These were a terrible disappointment. I'll tell you why. Although most of the two bags I have opened were fine for the most part, once in the first bag and twice in the second one, I encountered nuts so disgusting--REALLY DISGUSTING!--that I threw the remainder of the bags out. I called the company, which is Hershey, believe it or not!, and they are refunding my money. The company admitted that that happened occasionally, but I don't think I want to take a chance again.My diet allows me to eat nuts and I have been buying the small cans of Macadamias. They are great. I thought I could save some money by buying these. Because they are designed for baking, they are unsalted. I compensated for that by sprinkling some salt in the bags, which worked pretty well. But I am going back to the cans and advise anyone to be careful.

Since I came back from Hawaii's Mauna Loa factory tour last July, I have been craving for macadamia nuts! So happy to have found this baking pieces. I use it for pancakes, ice cream topping, salad and dumpcakes . I have sent this item to relatives in WA, DC and CA. This is my 5th order. Price is right...about $5.00 per bag - and it goes a long way!!! Highly recommend it!

Very Fresh!! Walmart annoys me!! Use to get these at Walmart but two Walmarts in my area had only expired pkgs on shelves and they hadn't ordered more in over a month so far. Luckily these are on Amazon because they are sooooooo good!!!! The roasted crunch and taste are delicious and satisfying. Great for cookies, salads, oatmeal, chocolate candy, jello desserts, etc.

Cannot find this quality valve in all my big-box stores!Easy to install and replace the lousy plumber installed crap-valves which hurt your hand to shut OFF.
