I needed new shapewear but did not want to pay a lot for it. The reviews of this pair of Shapermint shorts were good and the price was right, so I gave it a try. AWESOME! So comfortable, holds me in in all the places I need and I can wear these all day with no discomfort. I would not mind some more compression on the tummy but I am not sure I want to size down for it and risk them not fitting. I am 5'3", 180 lbs and got the XL - XXL. I am going to buy another pair!

This fits and feels like a dream. The support is enough that it doesn't feel like it is taking my breath away when I sit. The top of the wear has a bit of rubber in places besides the elastic in the waist so the top does not roll down or move. As well as the bottom hem on the legs does not roll up either. The only thing I wish it had was a cotton/panty type liner in the crotch as I am wearing this for compression after abdominal surgery and I am wearing panties under it. I have the nude color and works perfectly for me and will be buying another one. Oh and it washes and dries well without getting out of shape!

The shorts are comfortable and match my skin well. They do show thru clothes meaning you can see the line of the shorts on my thigh in dresses or pants I wear over them. They don't roll up or down, which is good. They don't shrink your waist. They moreso give you a smoother silhouette, keep thighs from chafing. Stretchy and comfortable, not constricting.

Lots of the reviews described the product being too big when ordering the size according to the chart. The shorts fit, but they didn't really provide the support expected. On the advice of a few, I purchased a size xs/s instead of m/l like I normally do. When I looked at the shorts, I thought there was no way that I was going to be able to fit my skinny-squishy 165lb body in those itty-bitty things. But I did. And without much effort at all. They're tight, but they're not snatching my waist like they're supposed to. Everything is smoothed out. No bulges. And I can breathe, but it didn't shape my stomach. My stomach is still pooching out like it did before. There's just smooth flub-blub now instead of multiple flub-blubs and no muffin top (which is nice). I sat down on the bed to see if it was possible to still breathe (it was) and I looked at the package. On the back of the package it says "Plus-size black small" and it now makes sense why I am able to wear it. I'm 5'11. 165lbs. All of my weight is in my stomach, hips, and thighs. I wear a size 10-12 in jeans. Plus-sized clothing is made specifically to accommodate a body type that is beautifully voluptuous. Plus-sized clothing is labeled "16W" or "16 curvy" fur example. The W or curvy indicating that it will fit a fuller figured individual. I know there's not a small in plus-size, but I think I've figured it out nonetheless: I have a friend that wears a size 14 curvy which is another way to tell the shopper that this product is constructed differently from a size 14 regular. The curvy or the W are constructed in a way that allows a fuller figure to settle comfortably unlike the regular that would be far too tight and constricting in the waiste, knees, and calves. Anyway... I checked on Amazon and found a plus-size Shapermint, high waisted shaper shorts that can be purchased in size S-3xl. These shorts are made like the curvy or W to accommodate curves that a woman who wore a regular small would not have. I believe the seller may have accidentally shipped a plus-sized garment when the purchaser wanted a regular rather than plus. And I think that this is why some buyers are talking about sizing down while others are describing being swallowed by a boa constrictor and not being able to breathe, or move, or sit. Maybe if I had a regular small then I'd be complaining about that, too because, trust me, I may be skinny-squishy but I haven't been able to fit into a small anything since 9th grade. And that was 32 years ago. 🤷‍♀️

This was great. This shape wear is somehow comfortable. The material is nice and it doesn't cut off your circulation. It stayed up well on its own and didn't roll, which is always a concern of mine since most of my weight is in my stomach.

I liked the shapewear, but it does not snatch your stomach. It does make you look smooth in your clothes. It was comfortable because it wasn't tight and it didn't roll down, but the legs did slide up when you bent over or sat down.

I bought these SHAPERMINT High Waisted Body Shaper Shorts to wear under my wedding dress, which is being custom made, so I needed something that would smooth and support without being super uncomfortable. I honestly wasn’t looking forward to wearing shapewear. I haven’t worn any in years and my past experiences weren’t great. I was pleasantly surprised by how good these are. They took a few centimetres off my waist and smoothed everything out without feeling too tight or restrictive. Compared to shapewear I’ve worn in the past, these are much more comfortable. The material feels firm but breathable, and the boning adds extra support without digging in or rolling down. I wore them for a decent amount of time to test comfort and they were comfortable enough to wear all day. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend them, especially for special occasions like a wedding but also for everyday wear.

Ok, let me tell you honestly these are one of the best shaperwear shorts I’ve found at such a great price other than the actual “spanx”. I’ve spent over a hundred dollars on these before and shows flaws still and not much compression.. HOWEVER, here’s a few things and tips when buying them I have learned: 1.) SIZE DOWN if you want a great compression and I don’t mean like corset tight just a nice compression which lets be honest if you are buying them you do!! 2.) I am this size usually and I am actually better in the medium to large!! They are NOT uncomfortable, too tight, they are so comfortable and they compress everywhere perfectly! like I mean no little bumps or any imperfection from legs or anywhere is seen and it’s smooth!! 3.) They actually stay up!!! Theres little bendy metal things spaced apart but don’t even realize when on they are there or feel them ever and the grips that I show in picture they stay up perfectly not just in front but the back too!! which is rare!! 4.) easily adjustable can be pulled right up or made shorter depending how you choose to wear them!! 5.) just make sure you size down as I actually bought these as you can see and had to return them and buy these size lower which I did it a few different colours now as they are so good!!! I promise you won’t be sorry with your purchase!! The black is really really nice too my teenager literally thought they were shorts and were like mom I like those they look so good and said she’d wear them as is out as there “snatched” lol!! 6.) just know if you did need to return I did the seller is great, easy to deal with. And returns and refunds and delivers swiftly literally next day delivery and refund within 7 days! So remember you want snatched and compression size down you’ll love them so much more lax fit go fir you size! When you get them you may think Omgosh how am I going to wear these they stretch and fit perfectly the size out of package is deceiving!! Lastly, look at the cute stickers and women’s power and self motivation stickers to women and all you get along and little storing bag!! Buy you won’t be sorry!!!
