Great well connected monitor!
Slight blemish so got at reduced price from Amazon. Great monitor and am now using two 32 inch monitors as dual extensions from my laptop and extension worked perfect from small travel Wavlink. Also set up Roku on monitor direct using Roku stick into monitor HDMI (not through laptop!) because wanted to check out Roku service and works well - interesting that Roku works direct plugged into what is only a monitor not a TV. Probably works with Amazon stick as well. Also has the head phone jack for Roku sound. Very impressed!

Overall great monitor for the price
Had this monitor for a little over a month now and i'm very happy with the purchase and have used this with both PC using display port and Macbook using HDMI.The size is great, the quality is good and its easy to setup. I use it everyday for work and like to have multiple windows open at the same time on the same screen. If you do purchase this monitor, my advise is to spend a bit of time to setup the monitor and screen settings on your computer for your own eye sight and trial and change to get the best for you. When i first connected up, it defaulted to 200% zoom which is not what i wanted as i'm not blind. I found 100-125% was perfect for my requirements. If you are looking less blue light and setup for that- the colours will decrease in quality. Again its your own preference.I have seen comments that its not suitable for design work, personally i use adobe software everyday and find it to be perfect for me but if you are looking better colours for design for print media then it may not be suitable for you.If you are going to compare this monitor to a Thunderbolt display or similar - don't waste your time and everyone else's- it certainly was never going to be. Price and spec says it all.If you set the zoom to 200% or over for viewing web pages, PDFs, word documents etc - you will get grain - but if you require pages to be that big you will have to live with it. Also you need to remember that not every website or piece of software will be optimised for such a large screen.Your computer graphics card also has a lot to do with how well this will work for you. If your computer is 720p and you are used to an old small lcd screen and your jumping to 2560 QHD screen- don't expect a miracle.I don't game so cant comment on that side of it. I have watched youtube and netflix videos and is perfect for me and better than a most HD tv's. Again its not a 4k monitor so don't expect that level of quality.Overall Im happy with the purchase as i did the research on the spec, looked at review videos and decided it was perfect for my requirements and within my budget. If you want 4k and a high refresh rate for gaming - then buy accordingly. This is my honest review of using with both PC and Mac and i would recommend it for both working and personal use.

great, but now overpriced @ 300 GBP
In short- good resolution (I didn't want 4K, because I use W7 machine which, by today standards, is "ancient" (AD 2012), although it beats most current laptops out there.- no problems with image quality, I work a lot with images (though not a "professional")- usb hub was a factor, but as expected, never used it for the last... 10 months (I think)- option to mount on vesa was also a factor, but again, standard stand is OK- bezel is narrow enough (not a factor to decide, but sure, better narrower than wider ;)Other comments:- I think I paid 220 gbp, current price, 300 gbp is, imo, too high- size (from previous, 28 inch) felt "big", but already seems fairly... normal, if not a bit... smallish. Trouble is, to go larger, I'd need to go to 4K, which I'm unwilling to, because I'd need to, probably, built a mini-pc, and my current laptop is more than good enough :)

No longer supported by HP, buyer beware. Vesa mount may break.
Monitor itself is perfectly usable, I disliked that you had to cycle through unused connectors when switching inputs, an unnecessary extra step.My issue is that the included Roux 32 mount that is meant to make the monitor vesa compatible broke. More precisely the spring loaded screw that secures the mount to the mounting arm on the monitor sheared off, resulting in the monitor not being able to be mounted either on an arm with the vesa plate or on its original stand as the sheared screw is firmly stuck (tried numerous ways to remove it) and preventing the stand being re attached.Been on to HP customer support and the device is "no longer serviced by HP" despite also saying the are 17 months left on its warranty. This has resulted in being in limbo as I cannot get support on it yet I need this fixed due to a defect in HP's own product. At the time of writing this is a large paperweight so beware that any issues are not supported by HP anymore.

Huge screen
Huge screen, very good picture quality. Not quite as sharp as some monitors I have used but that is comparing with the very best. Overall a good screen.

Can't get rid of unqualified usb cable message
Can't get rid of unqualified usb cable message. Every time it is turned on this message appears to tell me I'm not using a HP usb cable. It is extremely irritating as i cannot turn it off. It's a really crude way of HP trying to sell their cables. Had I have known this before buying I would have chosen a different make. I shall not buy HP in future

Not bad but not great
For some reason this display doesnt look 1440p to me.... Its a little grainy but not too noticable, 1440p videos look great but everything else just has graininess to it.
