Finally found the perfect sized box. In all black it looks great & No-one can eyeball your stuff!
Perfect size box for my needs! Pelican tough so no issues with quality! I received the all black version and love it (not a clear top) Took a while to find the perfect size and this is it! Fits my iPhone 7 plus w/case on and charger, keys, money clip and still a lil room for something small. Great for day pack/back pack to keep everything in one spot. I use it for daily stuff and also my gadgets when on the go, camera/go pro etc.

More room than you think!
I bought this to bring hiking and on boat trips. I am able to carry an iphone XR with case, wallets, keys, pen, and gerber multitool. Awesome to be able to see my phone through the clear lid and keep everything dry. The rubber cushion inside helps things from banging around. Great price. Great product.

Perfect case for Jambox and accessories
Can anyone believe that POS case Jambox provides? Who are they kidding? So for travelling, I put my Jambox, charger, cables, iPhone charger and cable, and a set of earbuds in this case, throw it in the suitcase, and when I get to my hotel, everything is in order and protected. Pelican doesn't market this solution, but I measured several of their boxes, and this is the smallest one a Jambox and the aforementioned accessories would fit in. If you haven't bought a Pelican box before, they are built stronger than they look and the hinges and clasps don't break with normal use. I've been using a slightly larger Pelican box for about 20 years and it still works just fine.Bottom line: great box for anything that fits, but for travelling with a Jambox, it is perfect.

Functional and Durable!
We use this nifty little box while kayaking, and so far, we have not been disappointed in its performance. Both the price and favorable reviews led us to purchase this particular case. It will securely hold an iPhone (in a protective case), a bi-fold wallet, and a set of keys. Once while kayaking, we were stuck in a nasty storm and had to abandon our boats to take cover on land. During the midst of a panic due to the impending storm, we accidentally left the case inside the kayak. About an hour later the storm lessened, and we inspected the case as we were draining the boats. None of the contents inside showed any sign of moisture. Based on its durability, I expect it to accompany us on many other kayaking adventures!

My fifth, but certainly not last, Pelican case.
I purchased this case to use it as a deck box for a Commander sized deck of Magic: The Gathering cards. By trimming the gasket off of the rubber liner, I was able to maintain the water resistance while using the pick and pluck foam to create a cavity large enough to hold 110 double sleeved cards and the commander in a top loader. This fits quite well, and although it's more bulky than purpose built deck boxes, it provides a level of protection to a deck full of foreign foils that I could not find elsewhere.

Very Rugged Plastic Case
This case is made of a fairly thick tough plastic like polycarbonate (I think). The overall case itself is clear. The bottom of the case has a separate liner made of a rubbery material that provides pretty good protection for fragile contents. Or, you can remove this separate liner and you have a perfectly clear case. The latch holds the case shut securely and the hinges are pretty rugged. The case is water resistant, but not waterproof. That means it will protect from normal exposure but not from immersion in water. The good:My experience with these cases is that they are very rugged and provide good protection for electronics or small tools. The lid is clear, and the entire case is clear if you simply lift out the rubbery liner. The bottom liner provides a measure of mechanical shock protection. The not so good:Not completely waterproof if immersed in water.A bit pricey for what it is - but the quality is very good.

Perfect for kayaking
This is my second Pelican case for my cell phone while kayaking. The first is 1200, very good, but kind of bulky. This is the perfect size. I use two velcro strips to tie it to the bungee cord in front of the cockpit. The case can hold my SG5 phone with a bulky case and a ring of keys. To prevent overheating under strong direct sunlight, I put a patch of aluminum foil in the lid. But I'm sure how effective that will be. Applied a little grease on the locking plastic for easier lock and unlock. Very easy unlock to take the phone out, and put it back in and lock. I have tried a few alternatives, such as waterproof case, ziplock bag, etc. This case is the most effective solution for kayaking. But I've NOT tested it in the capsizing situation. I think it will be fine as long as it is locked tight and not submerged in water more than a little while before I can upright the boat and get back.
