OVER-PRICED. Plain and simple. The body is flimsy plastic, and the metal sink finish is substandard, exhibiting a slightly uneven surface. It looks like a fairly competent handyman knocked it together in a shed. Had this been 80 dollars, I'd have said OK. It's a total RIP OFF at the asking price. Tried to return it, but Amazon refused on account of some small-print nonsense. Just buy a sturdily built crock pot from a reputable manufacturer and don't buy this nonsense item. Disappointed to say the least—in both the item and Amazon shitehawks.

The 3 stars is because of the stones. They were even sizes that make easy to grab pairs. But several of the stones are severely pitted, so much so that it will effect cleaning them. I will say the medium sized stones are all palm sized very decent. And the 4 large stones are only JUST barely larger. I would have liked more of a difference.The warmer gets 5 stars! The warmer on high gets up to 160 after 1.5 hours 120 after about 40 min.I took the stones out and immediately picked up the warmer, and it was cool to the touch! Very nice!It maintains temp with the lid on. You will need to adjust when the lid is off to maintain the temp, keep this in mind.I didn't add the small stones they are tiny, like a half dollar. Meh!

So much better than a roaster!

I'm a professional massage therapist who does hot stone work, and our clinic has this product. It is simply the best hot stone warmer I've ever used. I set the temperature and I never have to think about it again; it stays perfect, and perfectly controlled. Most sets, I need to juggle not only my client's needs and the stones, but the dials on the warmer as well, nudging it a little higher or lower in order to keep it from going too far in any one direction. I can't tell you how awesome it is to have one where I can set it and forget it. ;-) Yes, it's expensive, but well worth it.
