So It arrived, I wanted to test it out on something in my house before actually using it. So what better way of doing it by hovering over my kitchen utensils! SWOOP! Immediately grabbed everything in my dishwasher tray haha, it works alright, cant wait to actually use this for fishing 👍

The rope is almost too long, but really strong and durable. The magnet is insanely strong, it's gotten stuck on some metal that was stuck deep into the ground with a small section above ground, and I almost couldn't get it off. It picks up anything magnetic in the water. The only thing I suggest is buying some waterproof tape, because the little rubber part that comes on it around the knot slips off and up the rope pretty quickly. I suggest taping the knot, and you'll be good to go for as long as you magnet fish.

I bought a cheaper magnet and it broke the first time I used it. The first time I used this magnet I dropped it in the water and pulled up about a 35 pound metal object. I couldn't get the magnet off my self. I had to get a piece of rebarb to get it off. This is a awesome magnet. Get it you won't be disappointed!!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this magnet for my Hubby so he could magnet fish with his buddies.Needless to say, this thing is awesome!Definitely worth your money.Can’t wait to find lost things!

What a heck of a deal, this monster magnet is awesome, quality, crazy strong, the rope is top quality to me, I have had a blast with this magnet, spot on product, buy it again when the time comes for sure!

This is a very nice fishing magnet, and the rope is very sturdy. Although, the magnet does seem slightly underpowered as its "1333 lb" advertised. I would still purchase again, but I believe the $50 range would be a more acceptable price for this magnet

Its a very good, well made product. Exactly like the picture. I put lock-tite on the eyelet that screws to magnet, even though it comes with a lock washer. I would say I dont think magnet is as strong as they say, but it is the strongest magnet ive ever had. So I can say I do recommend this product.

Our 8 mm rope turned out to be a 6 mm rope. Having the larger rope.in the package was one of the reasons we purchased this kit. The magnet is fine. It looks like it will do the job.
