UPDATE: We received two spare bulbs with the box. One of the bulbs is dead on arrival and even has a weird mark on them. I'd love it if the brand sent spare bulbs to those that didn't get quality bulbs.----------I'm seeing reviews of the bulb going out. I believe we're in month 3 of using it. It has a VERRRRRRRY loud pop. If you're a light sleeper, it will wake you up. If you have a baby sleeping, they're getting up. The original bulb works fine. And by this time last year (Mid-April) I had at least 3-5 mosquito bites per week. So far, I have had one.

I received this product after 2 days placing the order. Was super quick! The product had one of the bulbs shattered due to rough shipping, i contacted fly-fry warranty team, and they were very responsive and provided me with a new pair of bulbs free of charge. I must say that the FF zapper works and does terminate the flies on contact. Happy with this purchase and with product quality.

it burned out after a year but it killed so many damn flies and kept my house so much better. Got a dog door with high traffic, and I tried anything. This thing attracts and kills everything, it's amazing. I think it burned out because it got hit hard. Gonna get another one for sure.

This bug zapper worked well. I had a real problem with large hornets circling my home .I called an exterminator and they simply said they could not find the nest and then left.I set up this machine in my back yard away from my home and bam-o ! within 3 days about 60 hornets were either killed or wounded. Sometimes it does not kill large bugs dead but you can spray them after they are wounded.

This is the BEST insect zapper ever!!! The flies love this thing and it has seriously saved my home from flies and mosquitoes. I’m so thankful I found this one!! The first one I bought had lots of reviews and wasn’t good at all so I tried this one here and it is AMAZING!! The cord feels so nice and it comes with extra bulbs so I feel like it will last forever. So happy with it!

Did not work when received. Old unit quit after 9 months, and they would not honor warranty.

Updated review: We'll, it does zap loud sometimes. I'm not sure why it sometimes it doesn't. Possibly it depends what part of the grid the bugs land on.Original review:I've ordered some other brands but it does make a really loud zapping sound which startled my dogs and wanted to leave the room. Even myself gets startled. This Fly fry doesn't make a sound at all- I don't know why. I see some gnats or fruit flies at night flying through the grids but the trap don't zap them. However, the next morning they are all dead. I believe the 20 watts is much better than the 40 watts when it comes to the zapping sound. So far so good!Oh, it has a free lifetime warranty if you register your product within 7 days of receiving it. - I have no idea what the website is to register the products, there was no website provided and can't find it online.

I raise gosling, keets, poults, ducklings, and chicks on a small farm for my VA Disability work program. COVID messed me up and my new barn was not finished leaving up to 100 babies in totes in my living room as they passed through from incubator to outside. Flies were obnoxious with all the wet we have had and the birds drawing them even though brooder totes were kept cleaned out. I bought a FlyFry to help with this and hoping it would catch the zapped flies to be able to use them as treats. Let me tell you, fried flies were the hit of the century until I ran out of flies 30 hours later this thing works so well!
