Finally a paint that stands up to brake fluid
So far this stainless steel rust protective spray paint is my go to solution for keeping things looking pristine. Worked on cast iron master cylinder and cheaper brake lines. I also used it for rust deterrent on front suspension parts. Sprayed grey primer, one light coat of stainless steel rust protective spray paint then semi-gloss black while it was still slightly tacky to the touch.

Great paint
If using for automotive I highly recommend prepping the surface super good, sand it down super smooth, it doesn't look so good on rough surfaces. Painted my wheels and bumpers with this. Wheels look pretty sweet

Great Steel-It alternative!
Product does exactly what it says. This isn’t suppose to match stainless steel like all the low star reviewers are complaining about. This is Paint with Stainless Steel pigments. NOT silver spray paint. With that being said it does have a nice soft matte steel finish. Spays very nice and has good coverage on first coat. Make sure whatever your painting is clean!!! The intake was sand blasted and the paint adhered quite nicely.

Great product!
I’ll be honest I have been using steel-it for my race car, but I needed the same color depth and coating for a cosplay armor without paying the other brand price and this one did the job well, looks amazing, easy to use, dry fast, the finish is superb! In the pics the helmet has been coated with steel-it and the shoulder armor with SSRP, y’all be the judge!

It’s terrible
I use spray paint a lot and this is by far the worst product in that line that I’ve purchased. You literally have to shake the can every 5 seconds for it to spray evenly. It doesn’t matter if you shake it for five minutes before you start or if you soak the cans in warm water. This paint turned what should’ve been a quick spray into an hours long process. In the end I still had to wet sand it to make it look nice. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

Good paint!
Napa discontinued thier Martin Seymour #7250 iron cast spray paint. This Seymour Stainless Blast is an exact color copy! Years of restoring cars and I'm back in the saddle again.
