I use seven of these LED G40 string lights to trim the roofline of my house during Christmas. Previously used traditional glass G40 string lights the past 6 years; energy consumption and breakage have always been and issue. I was apprehensive about spending this much on Christmas lights, but I have to say this product is completely worth every penny spent. The lights are simply amazing and the warm tone matches my prior gear perfectly; a must for my wife. When thinking about durability, these bulbs are packaged fantastically and as you would imagine, installing them often times has me bouncing them off the roof. Though these look exactly like glass, they are SO MUCH MORE DURABLE. I've not tested beyond normal installation, but I can assure you, I've bounced them hard enough to easily break glass and they took it without incident. I've not performed an energy consumption test yet, but plan to soon and will report back the details.I truly am 100% satisfied with this product and feel that the investment is absolutely worth it.

I originally bought some string lights from Brightech and they were so bright. I decided to take a chance on Newpow and I'm so happy I did. I received so many compliments on these lights from family this past weekend. I did by the Newpow dimmer, which really does come in handy because not only can you dim the lights using a remote, but actually turn off and on the lights with the remote as well. I can't tell you how happy I am with my purchase and would highly recommend giving Newpow a try. Best part is that the lights are weatherproof and shatterproof. Oh and I was able to take off some of the light bulbs and the string of lights still worked!

I bought these to hang around my pool deck and loved them until we had rain. All the bulbs filled up with water inside of the bulbs. Why if they are indoor/ outdoor are they filling with water??? GrrrrrWish I could return them! In the description of the item, it states that there is a free 12-month warranty. Does anyone know how to contact someone about this?

Bought 4 of these strings, liked that the bulbs are relatively close together (about 1 foot apart). The light color is nice & warm, the plastic bulbs are very clear & seem durable. Nice packaging, everything arrived intact & working. Combined it with a dimmer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086SVL2WZ) which works perfectly with these bulbs. Our backyard looks fantastic!

Really love these -- super perfect for my small sized backyard. I ordered for a party and they came on time and just plug and play. i did buy the remote dimmer bc I looked at the reviews. Super happy I got that with them. I like lower lighting so it was great to set them on a lower setting. PERFECT. only reason for a 4-star is bc 1 set came faulty.

Bought for my deck. Looks great. Have on a timer light sensor to turn on at dusk. Have been installed for couple months. So far so good. No failures yet. Previous set from different supplier only lasted a couple of months before glass balls filled with water and lights started to fail.

I bought these as “used”, a category that’s pretty decent here, but they came with a flat of GLASS bulbs, not plastic. That made me very happy as the recent flood of glass bulbs are much better than the plastic ones (they’re heavier to hang better, cleaner looking, non yellowing, and brighter). The wiring is the usual Christmas-tree-quality stuff. I’d certainly buy these again.

The remote on /off dimmer was a must so we can switch them from inside you won't regret that choice. The Bulbs are Low Quality, some fail right out of the box, I guess that is why they give you some extra. I find it amazing how so much water can penetrate these bulbs. We bought 3 - 25 foot strings and I bet more than half of them are waterlogged. I have to give credit where it is due because the bulbs that are good are still working despite the others being soaked inside and broken. I wish there was a High Quality Bulb. Sorry I won't buy anymore of these. I like to do things right from the beginning not Twice, so I would not recommend these.
