Grown by United Nursery, the Ficus Retusa Bonsai, or as it is more commonly known, as the Banyan Fig, is a round, rapidly growing, broad headed evergreen tree with a beautiful full spread. The small dark green glossy and leathery leaves, which alternate up the stem, are densely clothed on its large somewhat weeping branches. New growth is produced all year long and is a light rose to chartreuse color, giving the tree a lovely two-toned effect. The smooth, light Grey to reddish bark dotted with small, horizontal flecks, similar to tiger like markings, is quite striking and firmly supports the massively spreading canopy. The Retusa is among the most tolerant, versatile and trouble-free bonsai trees for indoor use. To beautify your plant use containers with drain holes to drain excess water and keep your plant healthy. Indoor house plants are proven to be excellent air purifiers that removes pollutants and chemicals from the air for healthy living. Better than I expected.
I don't normally do reviews when a product arrives as advertised; however, when something is much better than expected, I think it deserves a review. My Ficus Retusa bonsai tree arrived in a very timely manner with excellent packaging. It has a thick, healthy, green leaf canopy; and a shapely curved trunk with numerous arial roots. The height of the tree including pot is about 21 inches, the height of the tree above the planting line is 15 inches. The diameter of the trunk at ground level is approximately one inch. All in all, it will be the perfect size and shape for a beautiful bonsai after I get it transplanted into a proper pot. I would have no qualms about ordering from United Nursery in the future.

Great ficus!
The ficus I received looks better than the one in picture. It was packed nicely and neatly.Update :Ordered two more because of how well the first one did. These two are just as nice beautiful Roots and great customer service. Answered questions fast. Amazing !Update January 10Purchased two more since the other have been doing amazing. Really good purchase
This little tree surpassed my expectations! Like the other reviewers I received a beautiful tree! Lots of roots coming down the trunk and full of leaves.It was shipped and packaged very well. Will definitely buy from this seller again.

Plant died 2 days after arrival
