my kids (age 51/2 & 61/2; avg ht & built) love it. fits well. received red that was fine with son & dtr. true to color. easy on, easy off. kids did it by themselves.Update- Nov, 2017--Its very durable. My kids used it last year of school and it was still in a good shape so they are using it this year as well. It gives best of both, in fact all the worlds--durable, no strings to mess around with, kids are not dependent on anyone to put it on/ tie string as front velcro closure provides independence and ease. good material. covers shoulders as well unlike halter ones and doesn't make the kids too warm as arms are open.

My son needed a smock for art, and so I bought this smock for him. He loves it, and it’s good for art! Has a nice red color, and it really protects his shirt when things get messy. I really recommend if your daughter or son needs a smock for art!

Overall great quality , can't complain on the price for what your getting, The waist band thing is way big for my 5 year old, but hes super skinny. BUt even loose it goes over the back enough to maintain coverage. The length is good to, for the added protection. Smells rubbery when you get it out of the pack, but I doubt that last long. My sons kindergarten art teacher, said she wish the whole class had this smock, cause right now everyone wears dads old tshirt, and this one is much more easier clean up.

Excellent value, quite easy to clean, no issues. The adjustment strap is a little hard for kids to do themselves, but if you are willing to dress them in it, it's secure, and good dimensions. I put it on my 4 year old and it's not cumbersome, but he will obviously be able to wear it even as he gets bigger w no issues.

Simply fantastic. We ordered two of these for our 9 year old boys to wear during art class at school. Previous smocks have gone unworn because they looked to "babyish" and frankly were more expensive, and lower quality than this smock.This is a thick, rubbery smock, that is backed with thin fabric, that is heavy enough to stay put, unlike most other smocks. It also doesn't make the crinkly noises that many others do.We paid full price for both and they were worth it, but if you can find them on sale, like it is currently, grab them up for kids 4-10. I am tempted to keep a few in the kitchen for mornings that the kids are eating in their uniforms, instead of pajamas.My only suggestion would be to offer a color choice, even if it comes at a bit of a premium price. Our two are red, but they kids would love to see some other colors.

I purchased this smock for myself, as an adult, because I read a few other reviews that said it should fit adults no problem. It does not. This is definitely made for kids. For any other adults who are thinking it might fit, see picture. If you are tiny, maybe. I'm an average 5'4".The smock did smell very chemically when I first took it out of the wrap. I left it for a day or so and the smell pretty much all went away.It does seem pretty decent as far as a material that will hold up to use. I did not use it much since it did not fit.The wrap-around Velcro tie is not a bad idea, but it is part of the back so if you are too big the Velcro only goes down as far as the neck hole allows since it is just a hole for your head to go through. If the user of the smock is really messy, the ties will also be messy since they connect in front.I will be giving this to someone with kids so it at least gets some use.

I bought this for my 3 year old for at home projects. She loves it. I love it because it's big on her (but not too big) and covers her dresses (which she refuses to take off for messy activities like painting). It kept her clothes clean and it washed clean easily. It feels like it made of a strong rubber and will last her a long time. My only complaint is that when I first got it out of the package, it had a bad factory like smell that remained for only a few days.

I ordered this for a 4 year old and I am very pleased with the quality! It is well made of strong vinyl. It fits over the head and the back has a belt that comes to the front and fastens with velcro, making it easy for your little one to secure it. It should fit most kids 4 and up. I even like the bold red color.
