New England Copper provides full season antifouling protection against barnacles, algae and hydroids in salt and fresh water on boat bottoms only. Its ablative copolymer base renders a smooth finish with durability and abrasion resistance. New England Copper releases biocide by the exposure of paint film to the water. New England Copper has universal application over all types of properly prepared bottom paints (except aluminum). For use in low fouling and cold waters where fouling challenge is low. Very Good Bottom Paint
Purchased this bottom paint in the spring. Painted the bottom of my boat with sponge roller, I find this easier than a brush,. I pulled the boat Nov.1 and the bottom was clean of barnacles, only a little slime on sides of boat. The boat cleaned easy with my cheap power washer.The paint is hard to brush, but most bottom paints drag the brush. Using a 4 in. sponge roller is what I used for years.So I would recommend this paint to anyone who asks, for a inexpensive bottom paint.in.
