A friend, who primarily drinks coffee, wanted a small tea kettle for the rare occasions he drinks tea. He lives in a small apartment with limited storage space; this kettle is very pretty and looks great on the stove top. And, it’s small enough to store in the cabinet when the entire stovetop is needed for cooking. Best of all, he says he 💗s it!The accompanying trivet enables him to set the hot kettle on the dining or living room table after pouring tea into the matching cups. The saucers provide a place to set the cups while chatting with guests between sips. The price is good considering other sets only have a pot and two cups and cost only a few dollars less, if not more.My only complaint is about the packaging. The box in which Amazon shipped it was beat up, the box containing the tea set was opened and one of the cups and one saucer was not enclosed in bubble wrap. Despite that, the set arrived quickly and sans any damage, and as I stated above, my friend loves his gift. 😊

Other reviews said the handle was not attached, and its not. But with a vice and elbow grease it is not too hard to attach it. It's very nice quality and is perfect for our small box stove.

So annoyed, just recieved this, package marked "amazon inspected" (by WHO?) cast iron handle detached from the pot, no way to attach it, UNUSEABLE, now I've got a little mini project to send this back to get a refund and be at square one before I ordered this. Pointless excercise, I really liked and wanted this kettle, dont think I'll risk ordering it again.

It's very beautiful, breathtaking really. However I chose this particular teapot for its claimed capacity. Went to do a warm water rinse as soon as it arrived and filled to just short of the top it held only 23 oz of water. The rest of the household wants to keep it just to display it so that's what we'll do but I'm pretty disappointed in this purchase.I also have a bit of enamel flaking though I can't tell if it was from the lid or interior.

I love my tea set. The pot & cups are of substantial weight. I purchased a red & black laquer tray & am using the tea pot & tray as a centerpiece on my coffee table.

I love it! So much better than I thought it would be.

I want my money back my husband is upset it's broken ..... We can't pick it up if we cant put this part on and it's cast iron who can bend that
