Awesome Seller Report
First of all, trust this seller. They went out of their way to make sure this unit worked for us and we could not be happier with them. Definitely 5-Star Seller. Regarding the unit, I think my expectation for water flow gpm and water temperature achievable in southeast Arkansas in the winter simply was unrealistic. My wife and I like scalding hot water at a high flow rate - just our lifestyle. We installed a tankless heater at our cabin in woods six years ago and we have loved it. So when our home tank heater died, we chose to spend the money for an electrician and plumber to get ready for a tankless. We vowed years ago if we lost our home and had to rebuild, we would only go with tankless (electric) heaters. We have a total of three hot water heaters in our home, so this was for replacement #1. When the others go, we'll go tankless to replace them. For this one, we only needed hot water for a kitchen faucet and a dishwasher. We installed this unit (in the winter) and it just wouldn't produce what we really wanted. I contacted the seller, thinking it was a bad unit and they immediately sent me another one. I installed it myself and again it just wouldn't give the temp/flow we desired. The seller and I exchanged emails and we tried a few things. As it turned out, the inlet ambient water temperature was just too low for this unit to handle to fulfill our desires. I'll have to purchase a larger kw unit for this, and again I want to emphasize this was not the seller's fault. Due to no fault of their own, they are going to give us a full refund and we'll use that to get a more powerful unit. So trust the company, and make sure if you live in cold weather you get a unit powerful enough. If in doubt, contact the seller and as is noted in other reviews they won't hesitate to advise what is best for you. They made everything right, just as they promised. When we ran the unit at the GPM they recommended it worked great. We just desired one with faster flow. If we could’ve sent our faucet to not exceed the GPM I think we would’ve been very satisfied with it because the water would come out and a screaming hot 131°. A very nice attractive unit which was easy to install after the electrician got the proper circuit breakers for me.

Quality unit
Easy to install, I installed this product on a sink in a barn using a normal kitchen faucet unfortunately it does not keep up with the demand with the Fossett full on. It does however keep up with the demand with a lower flow rate. I like the control panel in the way it shows temperature, voltage and flow rate. I think after getting used to it it’s still much more efficient and economical than heating a whole tank of water the old fashion way.

It gets hot in seconds.
This tankless water heater is amazing. It only cuts on when you're using water and gets hot in about 10 seconds. It's the best new appliance in my house.

Purchased Dec 2019 and system burned out Dec 2021.
I had hope the system would last for at least 7 to 10 years; however, after just two years the system control board and electrical post have completed burned up.

Best small electric so far we have used!
I have been installing tankless water heaters for years for personal use and our GreenTechFusion customers such as propane, NG and electric and by far, this is the best electric unit under 9k watts that has worked without leaking and at proper temp setting. So far so good will keep up to date. Also, interface is awesome, like the Kw status real time.

Heat output all over the map....
Well.... what do I say here. I can say that (as a mechanical engineer) the unit is built and manufactured beautifully. I was super pleased with the design, layout, and apparent thought that went into these. That’s where it ended. The first unit was DOA. I’ll give a little kudos to tech support: they were super responsive. (But they are NOT technical). Since I knew what I was dealing with, I let them troubleshoot (even though I knew it was hopeless). Part 2: I reordered and received the unit quickly and reinstalled. The temperature of the output was poor and slow for the first run. I waited and ran a second test: I set the temp to 120° and turned on the water. Temp ran past 130° and the unit shut down with error code E2 (over temp, duh).3rd run slightly better: unit hit 130° but no error code. 4th run the temp never got to 120°. I ran at least 20 more runs, letting several hours pass between tests. Temps were all over the map.I programmed PLC’s (programmable logic controllers) for heating controls, so I know what I’m looking at. These have crude PLC’s hard-coded into them. They aren’t programmed correctly. So after 2 weeks, this one is going back also... really sad. They ARE built beautifully....

Newer model has better setpoint control
The original heater did not meet my expectations at all. I was sent a replacement (free) for the original heater which has revised control of the heating process. The current one does provide hot water quickly without the original problem of setpoints changed by the heater control. The manufacturer clearly wants to provide a satisfactory product. For a new installation, the side wiring may not be a problem but it did cause me a little extra time since the original had more convenient front wiring.
