Be Mindful | Bunny Hutch for Rabbits and Other Small Animals

My bunnies and I love this hutch! Where do I even begin? The hutch fits my bunnies' two litter boxes perfectly, one on the first level, one on the second level. It's big enough that my buns can move around on the same level comfortably as well as give them their own level if they want. The dragonfly locks give this hutch a nice aesthetic touch and I love how there's so many doors that open, allowing for an easier clean up. On that same note, the removable plastic floor bottoms for each level and the opening rooftop makes it easy to clean up any mess.Additionally, because bunnies don't have footpads, I love how the bottoms are a solid plastic bottom instead of a wire bottom because this makes it much more comfortable on my bunnies' feet. I just placed some blankets for added comfort. The smell of the wood isn't empowering which is GREAT! Bunnies are more sensitive to smells than we are and a strong wood aroma can actually irritate their respiratory tract and increase the risk of respiratory infection.The only thing I'd suggest for improvement is to add some extra pre-drilled holes to make assembly even quicker.This hutch is placed in my bunnies' bedroom where the first level doors are kept open at all times. First of all, I should mention that I have tried to contact the company via IG but I didn't get any response. I guess you need to be an "influencer" to get any type of response from the company. I picked this particular hutch, hoping it would be a bit better than others, considering the price and the reviews, alas, I was wrong. From the moment, we opened the box, "quality" showed itself, hence the photos. Assembly could have been very easy IF they had send me the "C" screws; so 30 mins or more was spent on finding appropriate ones in the screws box we already have.Once you are done, it looks fine, very light, easy to carry. However, then I realized how the urine was leaking all over. Nobody mentiones this problems in the reviews. My whole purpose of getting this hutch was not dealing with litter issues; but I was wrong. My rescue bunny likes to empty half of her litter to the floor so I wanted to keep everything in one place. There is no way, you can use the hutch with just litter and hay. It will leak. At the end, I had to remove the divider on the top to put her big litter box.In short, I would not recommend this product. Go with other brands that has cheaper options. And I am very disappointed with the customer service.

Pros: It is an aesthetically appealing hutch that comes it a nice color. The size is also nice, it is not too large but gives enough room to move around.Cons: I bought this cage for my rabbit and not long after that the black plastic tray on the bottom began to crack along the edge of the entire cage. If my bunny has an accident out of her litter box it leaks onto the floor. I contacted customer service just asking for a new bottom tray (because I just spent $250 on this hutch and didn’t want to buy another one so soon) and they stated they were not obligated to replace it because it was a week past the 30 day warranty. It’s poorly made and some pieces don’t fit correctly.If you do decide to purchase this hutch anyway, make sure you let it sit to air out for a few days, it has a strong chemical smell.

This product is a 2-level hutch, with a hay rack, lined floors, and pretty dragonfly latches. The floors can be removed (via a drawer-like mechanism) for easy cleaning. The roof can be raised up (it's hinged), so you can see the inside. There is a door that can be closed on the second level to completely separate the top and bottom levels. We like the colors as well, classic grey and white.Assembly is easy once you get the hang of it. We just used a Phillips screwdriver. The wood is pretty soft, but once assembled the hutch itself is sturdy. It's easier to assemble with two people. It’s long enough so our bunnies can hop 3-4 times and high enough for them to stand on their hind legs and not touch the ceiling. For reference, all of our bunbuns are under the dwarf breed category and weigh about 2-4 lbs each, so we can’t speak for the bigger rabbits. We have the bottom level doors open for the bunnies so they'll be able to come in and out as they please 24/7.Our disabled bunny does have difficulty with the sleekness of the floor/tray, but we just put fleece throws so he has more traction. The bunbuns like hanging out in the hutch so far and we think it’s a great addition for play and enrichment. The roof is slightly sloped and coated with a rubbery material. We plan to use it as a countertop for grooming the bunnies. You can fit a standard size litter box on the first level as well, if you want to be more discrete about the whereabouts of your bunbun’s litter box.Some suggestions: maybe add some more options in terms of color and/or have an unstained option for those who are planning to use the hutch solely indoors. A play pen that matches the design of the hutch would be nice too! Our bunnies seem to slide down when they go up/down the ramp, so maybe adding something like carpet would help the bunnies not slide as much.

Hutch looks super cute! It is painted white and has butterfly handles making it fit even your indoor decor. I love that all the front doors and walls open since I have a free roam bunny. He can come and go as he pleases. It has two stories so lots of room to explore, what bunnies love to do most!It was simple to set up by myself with just a drill. I love the pull out drawers under each floor, making this an easy clean up. The roof opens too giving you full access to the top floor. The roof has a single type material so it will last even if used outdoors. I’ve had other hutches before and this one is the cutest and best built one I have used so far.
