Attractive medium-sized kettle. No plastic touching boiling area. Boils quickly. Shut off works fine. As the manufacturer explains in the brochure it continues to boil for 10 or so seconds (can’t remember exact number offhand) after it reaches the boiling point but it does shut off. Very pleased with my purchase.

UPDATE: my first review was from March 29, 2023 and now it’s December 24, 2025. This kettle is still working just as well as it did a few years ago when I got it! No issues. Still love it! I just use once per day for morning coffee pour-overs. I fill with a Brita pitcher to have filtered water in it. Would still recommend! I searched and searched extensively for an electric kettle with NO PLASTIC touching hot water and make of either glass and/or stainless steel. And a SIMPLE straight forward one with no gooseneck or fancy features. I purchased and returned a few from Amazon that I knew wouldn’t work for me upon unboxing, even without using. Due to ultra thin glass I feared would shatter eventually, difficult to clean ones or pictures and reviews that weren’t thorough enough to show plastics actually inside. I’m the only one using it so I didn’t need something large or bulky on the counter. I settled on this 1 Liter model in a fun lipstick red. I love it!! It boils HOT and FAST and is very quiet. No whistles or screeching. I also didn’t want or need to spend the extra for different temp settings since I use it for one thing: simple coffee pourovers. If you’ve boiled water enough times you can hear the level of heat the water is at, so it’s not biggie for me without calibrations. Or just let it sit once done if you want it cooled a bit. Love it, have had for some months now no issues and would buy again. (No I’m not receiving any incentives for this positive review)

An update five months later: The kettle still boils well, but I'm taking off a star because the kettle now leaks. The interior is still intact; I think what's happening is that, as I pour water out, there must be a space where the spout meets the body of the kettle where water is getting trapped and then leaking out of the bottom of the housing. The spout is part of the outer wall and the section with the filter/holes is part of the inner wall, so the seal between the two must have been breached or opened up. I have to use a kettle with limited wattage, but I'm not sure if I should order another one of these, or the all-metal version as the spout looks different. This is a great kettle to use if you need just a couple of cups of water or so. It can be a bit noisy at its peak, but that passes quickly. (It's not deafening or anything like that -- just noticeable.) The automatic shutoff works fine, and while the outside gets warm, it doesn't seem that bad (though honestly, I'm not going to stand there grabbing a kettle with boiling water in it, other than by the handle). The only thing I really noticed was that, when you boil only water with the kettle filled to the max line, it's fine, but if you clean the inside of the kettle by boiling water and vinegar, and you fill it to the max, then it will boil over and out. So if you're using boiling vinegar to clean it, keep an eye on it. Shipping was marvelously fast, and the kettle is sleek and compact. It's 1,000 watts, so it's good for use in rooms where you have to limit power usage.

I don’t like to give instant reviews, but rather wait to see how products hold up over time. This little kettle has not disappointed me. I ordered it in white in 2019, have used it frequently for hot tea, instant coffee, hot oatmeal, or any time that I’m making something that requires a little hot water. Originally, I ordered the larger kettle but found it bigger than I needed since I’m the only one using it, and I drink a maximum of two hot drinks a day. I love this little one because of its size, cordlessness, and convenience. It takes about 4 minutes to come to a boil. The manufacturer recommends that the kettle be kept unplugged when it’s not in use. Mostly, I adhere to this rule; however, every now and then I forget, but this oversight has not hurt the kettle’s performance. I highly recommend this product.

I have had a glass kettle for a few years now. With the recent news of black plastics being harmful, I started looking for a kettle with a stainless steel interior. This one fit the bill. My previous kettle's lid was black plastic and with daily use, it has certainly degraded.. this kettle is an upgrade, and I'm happy to see that there's not much plastic on the inside. Minimizing plastic use and contact is important to me for choosing products. The appearance too, is nice and has a clean look

Not too large as I usually need just 1-2 cups of water at a time. Like that cord hides underneath but not all that important to me. Heats quickly and turns off once it reaches a boil although it reaches a boil a bit before it turns off which I realize means it heats faster than I thought. I can now tell by the sound when it's at a boil and when I remove from base it turns off. Great unit. Bought it for travel but use it daily in my kitchen
