Kanto SUB8 8-inch Powered Subwoofer (Matte Black)

A small compact sub that punches well above its weight.After having purchased the Kanto YU6 speakers which I was very happy with the sound quality I thought heck what the hell let's splash out on the the matching sub woofer also. Buying this sub woofer was the one of the best decisions I made in a long time the added low frequencies that this can generate has taken listening and viewing pleasure to a complete new level as the system is hooked up to my TV via optical output. It truly makes a huge difference to the overall sound quality and in my opinion an absolute must purchase if you really want to enjoy and appreciate the sound this little system can output from a 2.1 channel set up highly recommended.

Impressive piece of kit........ clear bass without the thumps and pops, not too large and integrated well with my Denon hifi system.

Subtle perfect match to the Kanto YU6 well worth it.

Bought to pair with the Kanto ORA 100W (which deliver great bass & don't honestly need a subwoofer) but if you've got a fair distance between yourself & your neighbours, go for it! Solidly built, looks stunning & takes an incredibly good pair of speakers to a whole new level.

Excellent subwoofer, more than I wanted to pay for a secondary system but works so well and balanced with the U6 bookshelf speakers. KEF you can eat your heart out. I tried the LSX Wireless, very bad value by comparison (I've been buying and selling hifi for 35 years). Couldn't recommend this sub more... and Kanto especially

Very good sub, have it paired with my audioengine a5+ speakers and the sub really makes the sound boom, amazing for movies and gaming

I've been through two of these subwoofers now. The first one simply stopped turning on after a week of use, I tried changing the fuse with no joy. I managed to return this to amazon in the return window. The second one began switching on and off every second while in either of the on / standby modes. I'm now going to have to send it off for repair. Now i'll just be worrying what the next issue will be... It's such a shame as my YU6's have lasted years and years so I was only expecting the best from the SUB8.

I wanted this as a second sub for my second amp. Distorted sound and kept cutting out. Doesn't compare to the monitor audio radius 380. Really disappointed. It also kept cutting out which is annoying.
