The cover on this book was so pretty. The stories and illustrations were very good.

Great for kids

I saw this book on a Vlog I follow and thought I would add it to our collection. Although, it's only June I'm a mom of many and starting to think about Christmas because that's what you do when you have a larger than average family. lol To describe this book I will quote my 7 year old daughter who was the first to look at it other than me. She said, "Mom, it's filled with Christmas spirit! Looking at it made me feel all cozy and now I want a hot cup of cocoa and some popcorn. I love it and can't wait for Christmas!" So there you have it, guys. In our opinion this is a terrific book to add to your collection. And it's beautiful as well!

We first purchased this book for our daughter in 2020 and gifted it to a couple of her friends this year. It’s a beautiful and timeless Chrismtas book (and looks much more expensive than it is!) If you want a keepsake Chrismtas book to pull out again and again this is a great choice.

Beautiful illustrations and a nice mix of traditional stories, fun stories, and Christmas carols. I bought one book for my kids and one for my nieces so we could Zoom and read the stories together this season, and both families are happy with the book.

If you’re not a music person you might not mind this book, but it really bothered me that the carols were incomplete.

Gave this as a present to a 2 year old for Christmas. Had loved reading it with that child's cousin (who is now almost 4), who was enthralled by the stories and the songs - it was her favorite book this Christmas and the Christmas before, so I am hoping that her cousin will enjoy it as much!

Beautiful: unfortunately the English cover is not as exciting as the German one, but offers in the original versions the most treasured songs and stories accompanied by charming and cute (also detailed) illustrations. Will add pictures asap. The German version with the blue cover is also a great introduction to English Christmas verse, my only comment is that the translation is unavoidably clunky, e.g. Translation of "a partridge in a pear tree" cannot ever be as perfect as the original.Paragon, please commission the entire Good King Wenceslas to be included in the next edition - the first verse is very promising but it would be fantastic to have the whole thing. And I would be very happy to review it for you :)
