During 09/09/2022 to 09/11/2022, we took a fishing trip to Lake Palestine SE Texas. The tools we had bought were all tested well. The functions, workmanship, and cosmetic designs are all proved super.

I have always put a premium on pliers for my kayaks. March 3, 2021 went fishing on Flat Creek, Lake Palestine in East Texas and limited out on sand bass (25), four crappie, and one largemouth bass. These pliers helped me succeed in catching these fish. Needed to change baits and used the line cutters, needed to pull out hooks; which the metal pliers made easy, and the D-ring hook secured the plastic coated metal wire of the pliers to my eye hooks. These pliers are made to last as well. I have had four sets of pliers, all broke, and all were poorly made at the time. But now Sidomma came along and solved my kayaking issues for pliers. Thanks!

I have been using these pliers for about a month and I can honestly say they are by far the best I have ever used for fishing. There is much thought into the design of these from the holes in the jaws to hold fishing hooks in place while securing your knots to the split ring teeth at the front of the pliers. I have used these for just about everything they are designed for from removing hooks,crimping steel leaders,opening split rings tying hooks, and line cutting. These pliers have handled every task effortlessly and have made my day out on the water more enjoyable. The construction of these pliers is rock solid and very comfortable in the hand. The holster and lanyard are a huge bonus as you can use the holster by itself or with the lanyard attached fro added security from dropping them. This is a top notch quality pliers! The nice packing box coming with it makes this pliers a great gift to someone too!

I like that these pliers can be used to open split rings. I was also hoping that the cutters for them would be able to cut the barn off a hook... I only say this because the first day out on the water with these I ended up with a hook in my hand. Unfortunately, trying to cut the barn off left the cutters in a state where I can no longer cut braid with. Not the manufacturers fault.

I bought this plier a few weeks ago and I used this plier several times on my fishing trips. So far there is no rust after using. This is a multi-functional plier. With plier, I can remove hook from fish; bending hooks/jig head, cut fishing line. The plier comes with a coil rope and a belt holder. With coil rope, it cannot be lost even if I suddenly drop plier into water. With belt holder, I can easily carry plier with me. The plier is packed with a nice gift box, it is good gift for friends/relatives as well.

I recently purchased this pair of pliers for a very affordable price. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the construction and function of the pliers. A big bonus is that these pliers can lock which might seem likea trivial feature but I find it necessary to alleviate the pliers getting snagged on things. Most pliers don't have this small yet useful feature. I wanted to purchase a few more but sadly they are now unavailable.

I have been looking for something like this for a while because I would like to use the cutter for braid. Having been told by my friend that this one is in good price, I was willing to give it a try. What did not surprise me is that this comes with the cutter, but what it does surprise me is that it actually has all kinds of useful features. This makes me very happy.

The design of the handle is very ergonomic and feel good in your hand. Quality was obviously a priority when these pliers were designed, there is no wiggle or looseness in the fulcrum at all. I fish the Texas gulf coast which has very high salinity levels and there is absolutely no rust or corrosion on my pliers. Not only do Sidomma fishing pliers work great but they look great too.
