This stuff smells heavenly. It's simply amazing. I think it smells a little citrus-y but my daughter says it smells like vanilla. It contains both organic ingredients. I have never smelled anything like it. Pure. Natural. Amazing. The light scent lingers for some time. It's not too powerful but you can tell that it's there. It smells nothing like other 'baby' lotions. I've noticed that most organic products smell (feel or work) like their conventional counterparts. I will never go back to conventional (chemical filled) baby products again.This lotion is not greasy. This lotion goes on smooth and soaks right in. Does a great job getting rid of dry, itchy skin- even eczema- without the greasy or filmy feel of other lotions. And like other EMAB products, a little goes a loooong way. I use this lotion along with EMAB baby wash/shampoo, they are an amazing pair.I'm hooked. This is the only lotion I will ever buy for my babies. It's SAFE, effective, organic, works great and smells amazing. What more could you ask for in a lotion?This lotion does cost slightly more than conventional lotions but you can grab pretty good deals here on Amazon. I feel the extra cost is worth the peace of mind for using a safe lotion on your children. And it's organic like all the EMAB products of which I haven't found one that I don't like.

Smells so fresh and yummy. Moisturizing but not greasy

This is one of the products with less number of ingredients/composition I found for my baby after tons and tons of research. Best thing is it's foam and hence I don have to worry about residue and it spreads very easily.I was using the 'famous brand' body washes, but those ones made my baby's skin very dry and the one that is supposed to moisturize came in a cream form and hence it was difficult to use. And also, I would say that I am not sure of the moisturizing effect too. They did ok.When I use this, I feel good and my baby comes out clean. The first factor I considered is that it only has natural and organic ingredients, which is very important to me. So I feel better about using this for my little one. Second factor, I love that its fragrance free to start with but as my baby gets older I might switch to the other scented version. Third factor, it is tear free and it doesn't irritate baby eyes. And four, it doesn't dry my baby's skin. So overall, this is totally a winner for my baby and I would definitely recommend this to newborns.I have personally used it a couple of times and I like it too. But, I restrict myself as it is on the expensive side.

Updated 11/21/2013After being initially upset with it, I tried this lotion on my son again a few months later, and must change my review. I quite like this now. This is one of the very few lotions out there that don't have parabens or other other harmful chemicals. The lotion is very light and non-greasy. I do recommend it, but with caution to watch out for rashes. Perhaps it might be better to wait until the child is at least 1 or older to use it. I would still be hesitant to use this on newborns or infants under 1.------------ PREVIOUS REVIEW -------------I bought this after reading the positive reviews this product has received on Amazon and because it is Organic. I did read the review which mentioned rashes, but I was not concerned because my son hasn't had any skin issues since birth. I wish I had paid the review more attention. After using this for 3 days, my son who has beautiful skin started having rashes on his cheeks. I thought it was dryness in winter, but it only kept getting worse. So, I stopped using this and switched Castor and Sesame oils instead. Sure, they are much messier, but they don't cause rashes and don't smell as strong.I now totally agree with the highest rated 2-star review for this product. My main complaints about the product are:1. Caused rashes on a baby who never had any skin issues earlier.2. Smells too strong for a baby lotion. The smell is pleasant, but too strong for my taste. This is only minor as tastes could vary.If you have never used it before, please watch out for rashes.

Smell is absolutely dreamy and does not irritate super sensitive, eczema-prone skin. I appreciate the long line of organic ingredients. I purchased several other products from this company and love them all!

I’m in love with this lotion! I was looking for an alternative for my son’s lotion as we are worried about the chemicals that are bad. This scored really good in Yuka and I bought it right away! It is very moisturizing and the scent oh I love it! Not too strong just right. My husband now uses this on his face and loves how moisturizing it is. I love all the ingredients are organic and risk free. If you are sensitive with scent, they have an unscented lotion as well!

My baby loves this lotion! Smells so good, and it's great for his skin! I love all the Earth Mama products, quality is great!
