Clean the nib: There are impurities in the tongue of the newly bought pen .Please wash the pen tip with warm water (50-80 degrees Celsius) and draw water back and forth with an Ink absorber, so that the writing will be smooth. 2. the use of ink: You'd better use the same brand of ink. Using non-carbon ink and do not mix different inks when using, it's really not good for your pen. 3. Regular cleaning: If it is not used for more than a week,you'd better clean your pen.Clean it once a month even if it is used regularly. This will ensure that the pen is not blocked by ink. 4. Clean the pen with water. 5. Develop the habit of closing the pen cap at any time and the ink will not dry too fast. Tip size:medium nib

Super value fountain pen
This pen is a heavy pen and has a push in cap. It is easy to use and has a very fine nib. It is therefore useful on poor paper because it does not bleed. The super fine nib needs some encouragement initially before the ink starts to flow, but once it gets going, the pen is very much easy to control. If you want a workhorse this incredibly good value (US$10) pen is perfect. It has a nice, well-designed steel clip and trim over a rich, black resin body.

It has a nice color, weight balance, and smooth motion in writing.
I think this pen will become my favorite. I filled it with the Parker black in and it writes so smooth. I purchased the black colored pen and for the price, the look can come off as expensive. The weight, the look, and the way it writes are all very complimentary. The only thing I dont like is that it is more of a medium nib and not fine as I prefer, but that isn't a huge factor for me anyway.

among the best
got one in lime green and the dark blue. i usually shy away from reviews unless the seller asks for one, but these are better than most or at least on par with the best. i filled one with parker quink and one with diamine majestic blue and neither dissappoints--quality feel and looks!

Great Pen
Nice fit and finish. Heavy pen, writes well. Distinctive clip. Comes in cardboard envelope, no plastic. Looks like a $100 pen.Amazon, if given the choice between two similar products, one shipped in recyclable paper versus plastic, I will always pick the non plastic option!

better than I expected
I collect pens, this one for the price is really top-notch, writes great no ink bleed, no scratch. It really does write like a $200 pens that I have. One of the mark of a good pen is that there is weight to it so it balances in your hand whilst you are writing. This one is very well balanced.All I now need is where can I buy the Refills. I like ink refill however if you travel and want to take the pen with you carrying ink with you is not practical

Pen works nicely, but hard to install cartridge.
I looked at Internet and found out how to install the cartridge, however, it is quite difficult. I have written letters with the pen and am happy with it.

Entry-level Value!
I bought this for my son who is just venturing into the world of fountain pens. He is very happy with the value and entry-level price point. Writes better than some of my more expensive pens!
