SIZE ADVICE There are two methods for measuring for a twirling baton, please ask your dance teacher her preferred method. Method 1: To measure the correct size baton stand straight and put one arm straight out parallel to the floor. Measure from the base of the neck, just above the shoulder to the tip of the middle finger. Method 2: Again stand straight and put one arm straight out parallel to the floor, measure from the armpit to the tip of the middle finger. These 2 methods will produce slightly different results so if in doubt please ask your dance teacher to advise on the required size. AGE GUIDELINES You can use the following age guideline as a starting point but it is best to measure arm length as that will be more accurate. 14" age 2-4 years, 16" age 5-6 years, 18" age 7-8 years, 20" age 9-10 years, 22" age 11-12 years.
