The reviews about it being hard to dispense are silly. I found it a non-issue and not hard at all. Giving this probiotic to my baby has been a night and day improvement! Backstory: She was born 3 months early micro-preemie plus had 21+ days of antibiotics during her NICU stay to fight a life threatening infection and she came out of it but has been slow to grow. She’s not “failure to thrive” but in all my research to try to help her grow faster, I decided b.infantis was the best probiotic and found Jarrow Formulas. Within less than 24 hours she started to eat more volume and has been increasing appetite and eating more each day leading to a much faster growth. Her poops used to be frequent and watery and she wasn’t absorbing as much nutrients. Now her poops are fewer in between but healthy and substantial and her digestion seems to have improved a ton.

Purchased as part of a gift bag I made for my Sister. She just sent me a message saying how much it works soothing fussiness from a gassy baby.

The product is fine HOWEVER, this is absolutely, hands down the worst dispenser I've ever used. It is a dropper that won't make drops. You have to shake the bottle insanely hard to get anything to come out and then the drops go all over the place, except into the baby bottle, and you end up feeling very sad and frustrated. Yes, in theory, a liquid form is easier to use than a powder but for the emotional strain and frustration attached to using the dropper, I am trying something new next time.

Worked great for our baby. He was super gassy before we started using this probiotic. We tried another one by the company that made our gripe water but that gave him acid reflux. The only weird part is the dispensing method is a small hole in the top of the bottle which lets the drops out slowly enough to count them. It’s not a typical squeeze dropper. It’s really easy after the first use. The wife had an infection so she was put on an antibiotic which we think nuked our baby’s normal flora.

I bought these for my infant since I was on antibiotics during labor and I wanted to get his gut back in check, the dropper stays with the bottle so no chance of losing it (great for those early sleepy days with a baby!), much easier and less mess to administer to baby than having to crack open a capsule and dust it on a paci. It has a gritty texture and the formula settles on the bottom of the bottle so you have to roll it around and mix it up a bit before each dose and have a wet wipe handy to wipe down babies mouth afterwards so you don't get oil stains on clothes from any that escapes their mouth but overall we are very happy and will continue to buy more!

These probiotic drops have been amazing for my breastfed infant son. He has Down syndrome and was having trouble staying regular. Once I added these drops, he finally started having regular bowel movements. With regularity, he no longer has terrible smelling gas. I give him 15 drops/day. I usually mix it into his food now that he is eating solids, but he’ll even take it in his mouth plain. He’ll open up for the drops and he like them.
