Great lighter! I love it uses zippo flint and wicks they are easy and readily available. This is my second lighter my first I lost some where and I needed a new. I love the look of them and the functionality they are super easy to use. Great value and will last a long time.

Good Chinese version of the Classic IMCO
For starters I appreciate the box says 'originated in Austria ' hinting at the reality that this is a foreign reproduction. The lighter is copper and so is heavier in the hand which for me is a positive. All milling, pressed components are identical in shape, size and function as the original, so the company obviously has the identical milling and pressing dies and parts. They make one notable improvement on the original: a heat and fuel resistant plastic covering on the inside surface of the sliding outside wind/air cover mechanism for larger or smaller flame. This changes makes the wind shield cover slide in a more controlled, positive manner and it completely noiseless. Some users of the original have reported how the slude can get too loose and even detach.Pretty good engineering plus, back in 1908 to WW2 plastic, anti-corrissive glide components were not around.Glad I took the risk for this particular foreign reproduction of a classic trench lighter.

It's a classic.
Functions flawlessly, it's a little bit too light weight. Feels kinda flimsy. It would be great if it was just a little heavier gauge metal. The design is a timeless classic but I don't feel like the quality of material justifies the price.

Not worth the price.
Picture shown was nice. When I opened the box I was bit upset how cheap looking and look a like used. When I tried to use it didn’t work well. After my hands smell like metal. Lighter is so light dosnt have any substantial weight to it. Very thin. I pay half for much better lighter here at Amazon.

Lasts much longer than a zippo
Currently at 3 weeks and the IMCO is still producing a strong flame. The zippo even with the sandwich bag method barley lasts 1.5 weeks.Although it is not as comfortable to hold since there is the rectangular piece attached to the cylinder which digs into my palm and it’s not sable to lay on a flat surface due to the rectangular piece, so you have to strike it then pull the bottom and take the insert out of the case.I could have gotten a regular sliver/steel one for $15 cheaper, but I prefer the look of brass.
