i have been looking for a mosquito zapper for a long time now because we can't enjoy our backyard during the summer time dues to mosquito bites . then i came across with this zapper . it looks big and powerful compared to other zappers as they described so i decided to give it a try . they delivered to me faster then i expected .that is a plus. i started to use it right after i got it for 2 weeks now. i am so impressed and happy with this product . it really make a big difference when i step outside to my backyard. no more itching , feel like no mosquito around . you can see a lot of mosquitoes and flies got killed by stuck on the zapper , it really works . i would recommend this zapper to anybody who is in the same situation . good product

Weve had this "zapper" for about a week now. It was easy to set up and definitely encourage all to go through the " clean up tray" process before hooking up so you know how to do it. So far it has been very effective and amazingly taking care of the flies. As a bonus it lights up the kitchen enough to not need additional lighting and soft enough not to be too bright. Many Thanks

I previously ordered their smaller bug killer unit and it worked great. . both of the fluorescent light bulbs lit up and it zap's the mosquitoes real well. months, perhaps weeks, later I saw the larger unit advertised, and I ordered that, when it came in the top bulb worked but the bottom one did not. after reversing the bulbs I discovered that it was the bottom socket was bad not the bottom bulb. both were good bulbs but the bottom socket didn't connect, didn't light up the bulb. then I found that the zapper didn't zap, so I turned it off and I noticed that two of the wires on one of the grids were bent near where the insulator was installed to separate the two grids. I'm thinking that the machine that installed the insulator bent the wires so that they would continuously fire off thus burn out the electrocute circuits. this was probably detected at the factory and the unit was disposed as a reject. I am guessing that somehow it got out of the rejected basket and on to Amazon. until exactly how this happened is cleared up I don't think you should buy the larger unit.goodluck.!

The first Flyfry bug zapper I received has one broken bulb and not packaged properly. Amazon shipped a replacement. The zapper works good. It doesn't have the loud noise when the bug get zapped. It has two 18W bulbs. However I do notice sometimes the small bugs fly around the wires and doesn't get zapped.

PACKAGING MUST BE IMPROVED. MY FLY/FRY CAME WITH A BROKEN TUBE WITH CRISTALS ALL OVER AND STILLINSIDE THE FRAME BUT WORKING. ONE OF THE SIDE SPRINGS WAS MISSING, THIS CAUSE THAT PROTECTIVE NETDONT STAY PROPERLY CLOSE.

Not noisy like some other zappers. Killed a lot of insects all summer in my yard. Still have them working in the fall. So many critters that I have to blow the units clean every week.

I didn't expect it to be as big as it is, was planning on trying it out and if it works get a second one for my seafood restaurant in Las Vegas. But it is doing the job well enough that I might not need a second one. so far so good, I registered the warranty on the fly-fry website, we shall see.

Says lifetime warranty if registered...Alas....no place provided to register. Therefore no warranty. Way to go! Product consistent with ad....except no warranty. 2 stars for no warranty
