EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY
I am 75 and have always used an electric shaver. My favorite for many years was the now extinct Remington R-845 which I used until I could not find or fix them anymore. I then begrudgingly switched to a Norelco 7310 but it just did not give a decent close shave like the old R-845s and requires a lot of effort for a not-as-close shave. After recently getting fed up, I did some reading and research. The unknown brands of FLYCO and MAX-T were appearing with overall very good reviews. I decided to buy the FLYCO FS377US for $50. I have used it now for 30 days. I shave dry with “Williams LectricShave” pre-shave. It gives a nice close shave like my old 845s in about3 minutes. So far, I am extremely impressed and pleased with it. - PROS – (1) The packaging is extremely nice for gift purposes. (2) The first thing I noticed is that it is very quiet. It fits my hand well and has a seemingly good build quality. (3) The included hard case is a nice addition for travel purposes and will hold the shaver, power cord and brush but does not have room to also hold the Power Adaptor without inserting the shaver sideways and squeezing the adaptor into the case. It would be a real plus if it were designed to properly hold everything. (4) It comes with a 2-year warranty. - CONS – None. – COMMENTS – (1) This FS377US is longer than my old Remington by 1” and my Norelco by 3/4” and does not fit my older cases. I found no after-market cases that specifically fit it with the cord and the adaptor. (2) The Power Cord must be inserted all the way into the receptacle on the shaver then gently “snapped” into final position to make a connection and charge the unit. This connection seems a little delicate and a possible problem over time or if too much force is used. (3) The LED indicator is shown as minutes of use, not as a percentage of charge. A full charge is 90 minutes of available run/use time. I find that a 3-minute shave actually brings the indicator down 5-6 minutes. This takes some getting used to but is not critical. One should easily get 10-12 or more shaves before charging is needed. (4) The shaver is made in Shanghai, China with no reference in the booklet to the warranty details or a US repair facility. There is only a small label added on the retail box for the Importer “Renegade Inc – Colorado Springs CO – 626-428-5587” but it remains unclear where and how repairs or replacement might be performed. (5) Replacement blades have a very reasonable cost but are not found in retail stores. Anticipate finding and ordering them online. The correct replacement blade is the FLYCO “FR8”. Write the Importer information and the replacement blade number on your booklet and keep it safe to avoid a later time-consuming research project. For now, I am extremely pleased with the shaver and am hopeful it will last my expected 3 or more years but I am keeping my Norelco around as a backup.

Good razor for the price
Very good razor for the price. I don’t get as close of a shave as I get with my Norelco Arcitec but but it does shave pretty close and the replacement heads for the Norelco cost almost as much as what I paid for the the Flyco razor. There is a digital read out the tells me exactly how many minutes of battery life I have left which is very convenient. The option to lock the power button so it can’t turn on by accident is also nice when traveling although it comes with a nice case. It would be difficult for the razor to turn on accidentally while in the case even without locking the power button. The trimmer is very short. It work OK with sideburns but is too short to trim around my ears easily. The power button is placed such that I occasionally I accidentally turn it off while shaving. I always use it on my days off when I’m not worried about getting the closest shave. I also use it when traveling. If it were to get last or broken I am not out that much money. Very nice razor for the price.

A comparison of three
By accident, double gifting etc., I ended up with three shavers. All rotary. I decided to keep them, one in the shower, the dressing room, the car. They are a 5100 Series Phillips/Norelco, a Bemagasa, and a Flyco. The Phillips/Norelco (P/N) cost about $150, the other two about a third of that. Before I relegated each to its place, I thought it might be fun to do a real comparison and tried hard to make an even playing field. The P/N and Bemagasa both give a moderately close shave, but I would go to a bladed razor for special occasions. The Flyco unexpectedly gives a very close shave remarkably better than the other two. It even leaves an obvious difference the following day. It is also way better and easier to use in tough neck areas. This may be due to a different approach to the flexibility of the cutting heads. The Flyco head has the same appearance in pix as the P/N $250 plus models?? Ease of shaving goes to the P/N as it is lighter and easier to handle, though shaving time seems best with the Flyco because you don't need to go over and over tough areas. The Bemagasa has four big and one small cutter heads, the others the traditional three. The five cutter head is appealing, but is a bit combersome to use in loose skin areas and didn't seem to offer any special benefit. The other considerations, attachments, travel cases etc. are usually apparent in the advertising, so I shall only add that the Flyco is my favorite of the three. The P/N receives a lot of reviews for being underpowered and I tend to agree and for me is the least of the three for its mediocre qualities and triple price.

Best razor in its price range!
An excellent razor for the price. I have been using the razor for a week or so. In the past, I have mostly used Remington Norelco or other name brands. I looked around and saw this razor and compared it to the name brands in this price range. The Flyco razor has longer battery life and is also wet/dry which cost much more in name brand razors. As for the razor itself, it does not feel superpowerful, but the feel is deceptive, the razor is powerful enough to give a good close shave. Actually it shaves closer than any name brand razor I have ever owned. The usb charger works well and it charges up quickly. The flip out trimmer also works well. If you are looking for a razor at this price range, I don’t think you can do any better. Pick this one up, well worth the price.

Didn't last 2 years!
This shaver worked good for about the first 22 months but then started to act finicky the last couple months. It wouldn't hold a charge and started to die faster then usual. It got to a point where it couldn't hold a charge for more than 30 secs and I'd charge it for a couple hours but then it wouldn't die after a few seconds. Not worth the money from a brand you have never heard of! I made the mistake in buying this not even hearing of the brand.
