The embroidery has a light sheen, and the colors are bright, and pretty. The neck has a thick ribbed edging and it feels like a cross between a crew neck and a low turtleneck almost. The sleeves and hem are also ribbed elastic banding, but the hem falls straight down and doesn't curve in. Overall, a very good quality sweater.
