Creative Haven Deluxe Edition Nordic Designs Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: World & Travel)

This is a nice book IF you like stencil patterns taken from woodwork (like cabinet doors and such) and patterns that look as if they are traced on a graph for sewing cross stitch. The "Stencil" patterns are pretty enough, but I don't like some of the "Cartoony" characters in them, and I don't like the graph-paper look of many of the other patterns. I am returning the book because it doesn't fit in with the style of design I like. But there ARE pretty designs in here for those whose taste is different from mine. One caution: as stencil designs that have large areas to fill in often require gradation or "ombre" effects, you should know this in advance if you aren't used to this technique.

Some very small details in this coloring book which are hard on old eyes. Many of the designs use the same technique (cross stitch, etc) but then, it is Nordic designs. This is not among my favorite coloring books due to the small cross stitch designs and others, but there are pictures that are larger and a not as detailed, which makes them a welcome rest from the ones that are very detailed. If you are younger and your eye sight is good, I would recommend this coloring book.

Very little intricate drawings/designs and easy to color and stay within the lines.

Fun pics, good variety

Love these. Good quality paper and only printed on one side so you can use markers without worry of bleeding thru. I use prisma colored pencils and they work great. This is such a great therapeutic way to relax, in my opinion.

Not as much fun as I thought it would be. Most of the pages looks like sweater prints.

Too many block designs made of x's (taken directly from sweater patters).. hard to color

This is one of the best colouring books I have bought in ages. It is fantastic with the right amount of very detailed to slightly easier without being boring or basic.I am so looking forward to start colouring

Bigger book than usual creative haven books, well worth the extra few dollars. Great choices of pictures also!! Very happy with this book.
