Freestyle Spare Parts Kit, Breast Shield Connectors and Membranes, Extra Breast Pump Parts Designed Exclusively for Freestyle and Made Without BPA

I have an older model Medela Freestyle and can’t find the parts anywhere other than Amazon. I had been using my hand held manual pumps, but I really wanted to be hands free. So thankful for this option! They work well and came in a timely manner!!

Pros: Proper suction, easy to assemble, comparable to original parts, great value. Cons: Takes time to properly clean them. I exclusively pump with the Medela Freestyle and find the suction on the pump, along with these parts, is excellent. The value is great; I’ve only found these to be reasonably priced here on Amazon and Target, but Amazon Prime makes the shipping a lot faster than Target. They are easy to assemble with only three pieces and are just as good as the original parts that come with the pump. They can be a hassle to clean because there’s a lot of little spaces inside the parts to clean out breast milk residue, but a good soak in warm soapy water helps. I find it helpful to purchase two sets, so one is always in use while the other is drying/clean. Side note: In my opinion, you should replace these parts every 1-2 months for the pump to work at its best. Also, do not scrub the membranes (rubber pieces), my husband made that mistake and it compromised the suction. Just gently wipe in warm soapy water.

Bought these so I wouldn't have to wash the parts immediately after each pumping session. They work great but I will point out that if the suction is feeling low first make sure all the parts are clicked in properly and if it still feels low sometimes you just have to unclick and reclick them in.

Great quality. Bought because my breast pump valves were losing some suction. Thought price was very reasonable. Fit my Medela Freestyle perfectly.

LOVE my Freestyle for all of its portability and the fact that I can fold laundry while pumping... I'm a big multi-tasker. However, it is very fussy. It has to be put together just right in order to be effective, and for some reason one side just quit working on me. It wasn't able to develop enough suction to pump-- at first I thought my milk supply was decreasing from one side! Replacing with these has taken care of the problem. The new pieces don't quite exactly fit with the old, so I'm sure to keep them separate to avoid frustration when they won't snap together.

Ordered Medela Freestyle Spare Parts to replace the ones I have. I only pump about once a day so mine original ones didn't wear out as quickly. The packaging was great! It was still sealed and all the parts were there. They were all clean and in great condition. As I am writing this review i am pumping with my new pump parts. I obviously washed and boiled them first. There was no defects or problems with them. They are working wonderfully and as expected for new parts. I couldn't be happier.

**This rating is for all the medela freestyle parts, not the ones I purchased through amazon. The connectors (spare parts) for the Medela Style are not always effective. The rubber inside the plastic protector becomes worn and it makes your pump have to pump harder without more suction. There are times after it's cleaned that I can't get them to suck much at all and I have to readjust multiple times until it fits just right to allow for more suction. I bought the freestyle due to the "hands free" capability without realizing that the older models can be hands free as well with a bra. The other special thing about it is the fact that the pump is not contained in a bag. It was a clip but the change of parts was a horrible mistake. My old model never had suction issues but with these spare parts (I've had several sets and they aren't cheap or widely available at all) it's a constant issue. Regret buying it because of these parts. Save yourself the heartache and money by sticking with the older models and carry the bag on your arm or back.

I started to leave a 3 star review but realized it would not be due to THIS specific product. It works great and I had no issues with the initial product. Sadly though, this is Medela’s old design and they just don’t last long enough. They crack so easily at the connections. If you have the freestyle pump, these work great and are exactly what you’re looking for. I just wouldn’t recommend the freestyle pump (from an exclusively pumping mom)
