Retro very sturdy solid toy

£20 is pricey for a role play phone! However i still bought it! Its good quality. Yes the string is small but that is so children do not strangle themselves. The phone not as bulky as i thought but still a nice product!

This toy is very nice-looking, with its painted wooden finish. It is a nice size and makes a little ringing noise, which aids with imaginative play for toddlers. However, it is quite expensive for what it is and, as I have found with many of the Le Toy Van toys, it is not overly durable. The paint gets scratched easily and I have had to glue parts of the toy back on already.

This was a Christmas present and my granddaughter played with it all Christmas day. It is very well made, colourful & will last for years

We own a fair few toys from le toy van and love them All! But this one is an absolute bust. It’s tiny, the cord is very short and the dial doesn’t wind back or anything. there’s nothing special about it at all for the price it was. I bought it as a birthday gift and it was broken within a week sadly, the part where you put your ear just popped right off So most definitely not worth the £20 and I wouldn’t recommend

The most precious little wooden toy phone!! Bought this as a present for my sons first birthday and can't wait to give it to him!! Also loved the fact that there was no excess packaging, all though it would have been amazing if all the packaging was recyclable.

I love Le Toy Van, and don't mind paying their prices for the great feel and look of their toys. But this phone was such a disappointment! It's small, light, the chord is ridiculously short, my little girl was so upset with it because the dial doesn't rotate back and forth properly, and even worse, it doesn't do the one thing a phone needs to do: Ring! the jingle in the handset is pathetic, and you can't tell me they couldn't have worked in some kind of bell. I know it can be done, because I just ordered a much better phone in wood that does. This is a badly designed and expensive bust, and it's far too hard to find this kind of pretend toy to begin with. It's not enough to have a thing that looks like a phone. If it doesn't do the two things a phone does, imaginative roleplay is not possible.

My 2 year-old loves her little phone. Great quality and well made. Highly recommend

Habe es meiner Kleinen Nichte geschenkt, sie hat sich riesig gefreut. Es hat ein tolles Retro Design und ist gut verarbeitet. Im Hörer befindet sich eine Rassel, die Wählscheibe lässt sich drehen (springt allerdings nicht zurück ,wie beim Original) Meine Nichte hat es sofort spielerisch in Ihr Rollenspiel aufgenommen und ruft damit Ihre Großeltern, Ihre Freundin oder auch die Feuerwehr an. Es wird täglich bespielt, daher jeden Cent wert.

My little ones absolutely love their play phone. I only wish it were bigger. I didn’t expect for the string to be so short and phone to be small, but I guess it’s comparing to other brands. Honestly, other than that, it’s beautiful and cute. My kids have enjoyed since taking it out of the box today.
