Selvyt Premium Horse Hair polishing Buffing Shoe Brush

As good as would be expected from the Selvyt brand, whose polishing cloths have been trusted and used by military personnel for decades. The bristles are soft, non scratching and densely packed. These will give a deep gloss to any decent leather shoe with ease, for even better results indulge in a tin of Selvyt beeswax polish. I have no connection with the maker or seller.

I wanted some really good new shoe brushes as I am particular about getting a good shine on my boots and shoes so I bought these and i could not be more pleased. The brushes themselves are a good size and are densely packed with good quality bristles. The bristles are softer than other brushes I have but they do an excellent job nonetheless. Cannot rate them highly enough.

The bristles do seem to be falling out faster than expected, but it looks and feels good, hopefully the malting will reduce after half a dozen uses. Will update the review if it improves with time.

Looked at previous reviews for these as they were to replace an old, much loved but worn set. They looked and felt good to the touch though I was surprised at the number of bristles falling out on a casual stroke. After using them even more fell, am thinking in six months time they will need replacing and this is using them once or twice a week. Not overly impressed as yet

Nice big brush with very soft bristles. Only problem as other buyers have said is they lose a lot of bristles every time they are used. Have to use them outside or vacuum up after. For a product labelled as premium I don't think this should happen. Used brushes about 8-10 times in 2 months. Photo showing how much is shed on every use.

Great brushes and fit the hand well for a really good sweep across the shoe, and the bristles are just right for getting that parade-ground shine. Why are brushes of this quality so hard to find. ? Will be ordering more for other family members.

These brushes are great. they are very soft which feels nice applying and removing shoe polish. they do not lose hairs very much at all. they are very dense with hair which is great. provides a great shine and definitely work much better than my previous cheap brushes. these would make a great gift.they are a nice size, quite large which decreased time spent polishing.packaging was great, they arrived very quickly and i am perfectly happy with them. they all look pretty cool!

Would be 5 stars but they're still shedding loose bristles. They bring out a good sheen to the boots. Slightly concave handles make them comfortable to hold. Hope moulting issue stops.
