Updated from 3 to 4 stars.
This is an all around good car seat. It fits rear-facing in my 2009 Corolla pretty well. We did have to move the passenger seat up though. The price was really great and it seems really secure. Our daughter is 3 months old and fits okay. We've decided to go back to her infant carrier in my car until she fits better. She has a Graco Milestone convertible seat in my husband's car. Honestly, I prefer that one but it was over $200 and we didn't want to spend that twice. Pros: Affordable Fits In my compact car Once we get our 3 month in the car seat, she seems comfortable and has slept in it. The purple is very pretty but not too over-the-top girly. We like that a lot. Cons: Doesn't fit babies under 15 pounds very well. It's difficult to install and required a lot of force to tighten the latch system compared to graco seats. You also have to remove part of the cover to install the latch system or seat belt rear facing. Unlike her graco, to add the cup holder, you have to remove part of the cover on the side and it was a pain to pull back over to secure it. The harness is also more difficult to tighten. And the chest clip is considerably huge compared to others. Also when the seat is rear facing, it is incredibly difficult to tighten because the tightening strap is partially covered by the seat. The infant padding doesn't fit in the car seat with the head support in the two lowest positions. This confuses me because it is infant support padding so you think it would fit with the head support being in the lower positions for an infant. Overral, it's a good extra seat to have. It was affordable and fits my compact car. All of the cons, are more of inconveniences right now. We will go back to using this seat in a month or two when it will be easier to get her in and out. Updated: We've been using this car seat again for over a month and I love it now. I am glad that I decided to keep it. I had to use a pool noodle to install it properly in my car. My daughter who is around 6 months old now almost falls asleep in it every time. I was previously annoyed with the tighter tension in the straps, but I feel like she is much safer in it than her infant seat. It just takes a little longer to secure her than the car seat in my husbands car. Now that she's bigger, she fits snugly with the infant padding. I would definitely recommend this car seat to a family looking for a basic convertible car seat.

Great car seat! (UPDATED!)
UPDATE 1/16/20: After seeing more bad reviews about the safety of this car seat, I feel inclined to update. My girls are now 4 and 5 so we no longer use these, but as I had mentioned in my previous edit, I did end up purchasing another. I had NO problems installing, uninstalling, switching these car seats between vehicles, etc. The latch was tricky to release to loosen the belt, but I found if you only squeezed the very front of the release (closest to you) that it would do just the trick. Also, I NEVER had a problem getting these seats good and tight or unmoving. I always loosely hooked the latch into the seats, then I would put my knee in the seat, put my full body weight down onto it, and pull the tether. After that, I anchored behind the seat. I honestly believe these were very safe. After all, I trusted two of these to keep my girls safe. Maybe if you're used to upper-class high-end model Cadillacs of car seats, then these probably aren't for you. But for those of us on a budget who can't afford $400 car seats, these are perfect! I love this car seat. It looks great and seems comfortable enough for my soon-to-be 9 month old! She is a little chunky, and this is a perfect fit! It was very easy to install. The headrest moves up and down nicely. It is so small and compact and doesn't take up the entire back seat, especially rear facing. I am considering purchasing another one to replace my toddler's Evenflo SureRide DLX (it's huge in comparison). UPDATE 2/1/18: I have been using this car seat for nearly 10 months now. I have absolutely no complaints. It still looks great, even after washing a few times. There are no signs of wear or tear. I've seen on several other websites that people are complaining about installation. I have absolutely no trouble installing this car seat, whether it's using LATCH or just a seatbelt. I have yet to purchase another, but here I am today, looking to do so!

Fit 3 in the backseat of an 03 Accord!
We had to downsize our car and it was a disaster. Three kids in the back seat and 2 of them have sensory issues amongst other issues. There was so might fighting!! So my husband and I turned in out old car seats and got smaller ones so we could reconfigure and after tons of research we found this! I went with this seat because of its small size and the fact that it is a forward facing convertible car seat that goes up to 65 pounds!! That's a rare find for such a small seat. To be fair, our third seat is a Bubble Bum booster that takes us less space but I think we could get three seats in and we have two of these seats next to eachother without issue. Also, while I would not personally pay for the Sport one just for the insert, it is a very nice insert. Our nautilus came with an insert too but it was thin and only for the lowest setting. We did extended rear facing so it was useless to us because the kids were too big. But this one is 2 pieces and thick so I think it would help a young infant in rear facing mode. The down side of this seat is the fact that it is clearly a lower end seat. We are coming from Britax and my beloved Grace Nautilus so this feels a little cheaper. And I really hate how MUCH the straps twist. In the Gracos our 3 & 4 year olds had no issues buckling themselves and it was easy for me to do one handed. In this seat one of them always has an issue. Also, it is more difficult to tighten the 4 year old and unbuckle the seat one handed from the driver seat which was never an issue with my Graco. Although after two weeks of use (and hurting my thumb) I have almost mastered the one handed opening of the chest clip. Installation has been SUPER easy with this seat but we aren't using the obnoxious LATCH (it doesn't have the push button release like Brita, just that frustrating hook). Also, adjusting the straps means removing the seat from the car, but installation was so easy that is less annoying that changing the straps and getting it right. My 4 year old is the largest we have in the seat. He weighs almost 50 and is about 4.5 feet but with a long torso. I am happy to say he fits pretty well. The straps go allllllll the way out when j let him out of his seat and the crotch strap is too low for him in my opinion but this guy has some intense sensory processing disorder and he doesn't complain about his seat (and he is particular). Pros: Affordable. It doesn't get much more affordable! The insert is two pieces so it is more flexible to your child's height. My 50 pounds 4 year old fits! Got 3 in a backseat Easy installation! Cons: Short crotch strap. Feels a little small on my 4 year old. Doing we make it to 65 lbs Straps twist Kids have a harder time buckling themselves Harder to get them out Overall, I would recommend this cat seat if you need a second car seat or one for a tight space, you want to keep a larger child in a 5 point harness longer, or you need a less expensive seat.

Great seats, Great price!!
Love this seat! We have two in the back seat of my Trail Blazer and there is still room between for our older son to sit. So easy to install and strapping in our girls is a breeze. We've never had a problem with tightening, pull strap glides easily. Coushions seem comfortable for our LOs which is perfect for our long road trips. Head rest moves up easily to fit our tall 2 year old. And my most favorite part about these seats are the extra two pads for "infants" that fit securely around their bottoms to help keep them from sliding around/out during an accident (or if you just have wiggly babes). I even took them off our older ones seat and put them in our infants seats that's used in our other car! Love the idea!!! And then, of course, the colors...our girls love having their own color and they really are great shades, Not too bright!! I read some complaints about the latch belt not "reaching" when used in rear facing position...that is not true if you put the belt through the appropriate area. The seat is clearly labeled...one area through the back of the seat is for "forward facing" and the area through the bottom of the seat is for "rear facing"...READ the handbook, and the sticker labels, and everything will work just like they say!

Good
So this is a good quality car seat, the fabric is nice and good color. It’s not super heavy and i’m overall happy with it especially for the price. I took off a star because i did have trouble installing it, I had to watch several youtube videos and use the guide to get the hang of it. Even with that, and once i understood it better, we are still finding that is has gone crooked and need adjusting occasionally. I’m really not sure what i could be doing to fix that completely. And honestly the directions are a little hard to understand. But if your looking for a good car seat that’s not going to break your bank then i would recommend

Safe, Comfortable, and Easy to Install
Title: Safe, Comfortable, and Easy to Install I’m really happy with this car seat! It feels sturdy and well-made, and my child seems very comfortable in it. Installation was simple and secure, and the seat fits well in my mid-size car without taking up too much space. I love that it can grow with my child from rear-facing to forward-facing. Great quality for the price and gives me peace of mind knowing my little one is safe. Highly recommend!

this seat is perfect. I drive a 2014 Ford Fiesta SE and ...
If you have a small car, this seat is perfect. I drive a 2014 Ford Fiesta SE and when we had to switch our son to a convertible car seat vs the click connect one, I was at a loss because the one we had planned to use, had me moving my passenger seat all the way up so no one else could ride in the car. After doing hours of research on car seat sizes and reviews, I purchased this one and it's exactly as pictured and described! Rear-facing it fit behind the drivers seat and my 4yo had her booster behind the passenger and it fit fine. We then moved him forward facing and it's just the perfect size either rear or forward facing. It looks so comfortable and he just lounges in it like it's a dream. **These are SO EASY TO CLEAN as well!** He threw up all over it, just unhooked it all within 5min and in to the washer it went and it washed out perfectly! It comes with a cup holder which can be a pain to keep on from time to time but otherwise this seat is great. I did remove the one piece of extra padding that it came with so he could fit in it without being overly cushioned. The headrest is adjustable from the back and the strap notches go all the way up as well so he has a while to grow with it. It's probably the best carseat I've purchased even when I didn't need a smaller one- wish I would have had this one for my oldest!

Great seat for the price!
We love this seat! Fits my girl perfectly! She looks so comfy in it I wanna get in there with her! Very snug it looks like a hug when she’s in it and i appreciate that! Padding inserts are comfy but ig you have to move it a lot, they will fall out. Cup holders come off and I’ve never even used them though. Not bulky.
