Very nice aluminum tailpiece with chrome finish !
I used this on my Gretsch to replace the cast v shaped tailpiece. Very happy with the new look and sound. Seems a tad more clear sounding and resonant.

Excellent quality Aluminum Bridge for Epiphone Guitar
Very glad to have purchased this Gotoh Aluminum bridge! It fit my Epiphone ES-339 exactly. Tone really is better, cleaner, and more sustain. Left original bushings in the guitar body and used the Gotoh screws. No problems at all. You can hear the difference in sound when you drop this bridge on a wood surface. The original epiphone bridge sounds dull, thick, and lands with a thud. This Gotoh Aluminum bridge lands with a pleasant ring, a ping that sustains. Check online for videos comparing original vintage Aluminum bridges and the common modern zinc bridges. This Gotoh is the same solid Aluminum, and has the same weight and sound as the original vintage bridges. Highly recommended upgrade and inexpensive too!

Awesome upgrade for stock Gibson Explorer tail piece
Wow! Ran across this inexpensive upgrade for Gibson USA guitars. This Aluminum tail piece really works for tone and sustain. Fair to say I also replaced the stock bridge with a roller/brass one. Instantly added tone, clarity and brightness to a dark muddy sounding guitar. Also seemed to help the intonation which even after intonating it with the bridge adjustment on stock hardware didn't seem to sound right. I think it has some thing to do with Mohogany body guitars too. I've played Mohogany basses, acoustics, etc and they always a bit dark (but warm) and need something extra to get them right for live performing.

Great product, poor customer service.
The seller sent me nickel plated when I ordered chrome. They ignored my requests for an exchange. Luckily you can barely notice the difference. The quality of the product is great. The customer support, not so much.

True Vintage Correct Tailpiece for any late '50's Les Paul Standard for half the price!
I purchased a rare Epiphone® Limited Edition Les Paul Standard® PlusTop PRO Dirty LemonBurst Electric Guitar (1 of only 3000), which has Custom Shop® Matched Flamed Maple tops. Once I received it I knew I wanted to do a 1959 True Historic™ Vintage-Correct conversion of all electronics, hardware, and even correct the "Polyurethane Shine" to look more like a true Nitrocellulose VOS® (Vintage Original Specification®) that the Custom Shop® creates. The Gotoh® Vintage Specs (Era-Correct) Nickel-plated Solid Aluminum "Stopbar" Tailpiece; which is half the price of the Gibson® or Gibson®-Authorized supplier, TonePros® versions of this exact product. I combined this Gotoh® Vintage Nickel-plated Solid Aluminum "Stopbar" Tailpiece with TonePros® System II™ Nickel-plated Metric (M8 x 1.25) Locking Tailpiece Studs and TonePros® System II™ Adjustable Nickel-plated Metric (M8 x 1.25, 'Large Post'), Pre-Slotted, Locking Steel Tune-o-matic Bridge which using Period-Correct Materials creates a Vintage-style, Vintage Sustain, and sound as close to "True Historic™" as any Custom Shop® version.
