I mistakenly thought this product was not delivered. It was a mistake at our end. It had been misplaced by the person in the home receiving it. It works as it is detailed. PLEASE NOTE YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE DEVICE AT A TIME ON THIS SPLITTER

Didn't work as advertised
Even when a non powered connection is used in the second port it prevents the first port from working. Went for a Netgear switch, costing little more and did the job. Ask specific questions before buying this. Vendor took the return without question so no complaints there.

This is a very sturdy connector. The little clip on one end of my Ethernet cable had broken off and the end kept falling out of my existing connector which links to the sky box (which isn't wifi enabled). It actually stays in this one - so glad I gave it a try. Saved me having to go under the floor boards to replace the entire cable which runs from another room where the router is. Very, VERY pleased, esp. as I get anxious at the thought of meeting any spiders down there in the dark and where there isn't enough room to be able to move very fast if I did.

Didn't work
Seems to be patchy in connection, tried plugging two ethernet leads in and worked for a bit then kept dropping out, after a couple of days use has stopped working completely. Took the main ethernet cable out to test and it's working fine, so after lots of cable swapping have figured out it is this splitter causing the problems. Waste of money!

This will not run 2 devices simultaneously!
I got this product as there is an underfloor Ethernet cable run to the office upstairs and I wanted to run both a PlayStation and computer off of it at the same time. When plugged in individually to the splitter they work fine but when plugged in together neither connect to the internet. After further research it seems other people have had this issue with similar products. Do not buy!

Useless
Total waste of time. Doesn’t do what you think it does. Doesn’t not split RJ45 connection. You need to buy 2 of them. Don’t bother.
