Savvy Living NanoRazor Ceramic knife series (Mixed, Black)

Overall very happy with the knife which I use every day. Perhaps not as sharp as other ceramic knives I've used out of the box, but it has held its edge longer than my others which had were made of white ceramic material. I've also not detected any nicks in the edge after hundreds of uses. The white ceramic blade I have may have twice the use, but it looks like it has a serrated edge.Since I store my knives in a drawer rather than a block, I would really liked to have a sheath with this knife, as both of the other ceramic knives I have came with one. Or at least recommend one you know will fit because finding one to fit seems near on impossible without just buying random ones and hoping for the best. In the end I took a piece of cardboard and folded it over and taped it together as a sheath. Not pretty, but free and who can tell when its in the drawer.

I agree with those reviewers who said this knife is not sharp. I cuts no better than my knives which are not sharp, but they have an excuse, I rarely sharpen them. This knife claims not only to be sharp, but to stay sharp over an extended period. It fails in the short term, so long term is irrelevant.I agree with those who comment favorably on the shape and ergonomic quality of the handle. I'm sending it back.

Really nice knife! I've never owned a ceramic knife, but if this is any indicator of what they are like, I am seriously considering getting a full set. It fits nicely in my hand and is SO sharp. I'm careful to be sure to cut items on a wooden cutting board so I don't chip the knife. Has a bit of a challenge with citrus peels sometimes, but not problem getting through fruits such as apples and pears.

Ceramic Knife was super sharp for cutting. Unfortunately it is also very thin and brittle. If you apply even a little sideways pressure on the cut, the knife will probably snap in half. Mine broke after about 3 months. I will probably stick with traditional knives as they are more durable

I have'nt had them for too long yet but they are very sharp and I especially like the little one for cutting up vegetables! The big one will chop onions so fine they about dissapear! I believe I'll get my monets worth out of them!

Initially I hesitated quite a bit to buy this knife because it looks to be a new product with no reviews. But the blade cover feature is something I want for quite some time, as the ceramic knife I owned before chipped easily without a cover when I put them in the drawer, then what happened was it bumped with other stuff and damaged the blade. This cover really put that problem away, now I can put it anywhere with no concern as long as I put this sheath on.Also this knife is indeed super sharp, and I can feel how easy it is to slice through different kinds of fruits and vegetables. I also like that black color look after owning all those white blades in past. My hope is high that it would last a lot longer than my last one.

Excellent knife, it's hard to find a ceramic knife with a larger blade size but this one is great and at a good price, it comes packed very well and has a nice ergonomic grip, even for a guy like me with very large hands.

The blade seems to be made of more brittle material than my other ceramic knives. It chipped during the first use. I have several other ceramic knives that I use frequently and they are still in tact and very sharp.
