Schultz018064 Spf48220 Nursery Plus Slow-Release Plant Food, 12-6-6, 3.5 Lbs

I bought this based on previous reviews I had read, as I was wanting something for my shrubs. What a difference! I wasn't expecting this much of a boost to their growth and flowering, but it's happening. I have a gardenia that's growing in the tree line, so it's a bit leggy as it doesn't get full sun. Last year it had quite a few blooms on it, but now it's blooming so much the branches are bowing. Has big fat bud heads waiting to bloom. In fact, it's hard to walk by as the fragrance from it is so strong, reminds me of the old days of walking past the perfume section at Macy's and feeling overwhelmed by the odors. While I can't guarantee it'll do this for every blooming shrub, I can attest to the fact that my non-blooming shrubs are putting on better growth than when I gave them Osmicote. Granted I didn't dig in the Osmicote into the surrounding top few inches of soil as it says to do (not able to, given my back issues), so it may have worked better if I had done that. Will definitely keep this on hand, feeding every 3 months (it says more often when soil temps get higher than in the high 70's, I believe). I bought a soil thermometer to do a quick test of the soil temp. at about 3 inches below, as it's always different than at the ground level of soil. Hopefully this company stays in business and doesn't change anything to this formulation. Have bought a second bag to make sure I have it on hand. Definitely recommend!

I planted 32 arborvitae last spring and all 32 of them died. Replanted all of them last October and used this stuff in early March when everything started to turn green. All the trees look very healthy and green and most of them have grown about 8” or more since March. This stuff seems to work very well.

This stuff is great for shrubs, plants and around trees. Makes them healthy and the the leaves are shinyand beautiful. I have used Shultz Nursey Special many times over the years. It has always worked greatfor me.Bama Lady

My tree guy said I should buy this and apply a handful around the base of my trees in spring. Wow does it make trees grow fast. I have a young white oak that has grown 2 feet so far this year, and they are not known for growing fast. Buy this if you want healthy, fast growing trees.

Worked well with our Arbotvitae; started using 1 year after planting, and they are growing fast and look very healthy.

I didn't pay much attention to the instructions and lazily sprinkled this stuff around my plants in mid-spring. They all quickly showed tons of new growth. Worked great.
