My wallet got really sick and tired of paying Leslie's hefty prices on their enzyme based water clarifier and phosphate remover. So I went searching on Amazon for an alternative and found this. Upon inspection, it seemed to do the same thing at a fraction of the price. By buying Natural Chemistry over Leslie's Pool Perfect Weekly, I can save a whopping $32 on a single bottle purchase and $48 on the two bottle purchase.After using every week for a month, I can say that it works just as well as Leslie's. I see NO difference in water clarity or algae bloom while using this product over Leslie's.Love the savings!

Normally this product is great, but what I received from Pool Supplies Superstore was absolute crap. Both bottles looked old and when I shook them, there were clear sounds of something solid in the liquid. I think it was so old, the liquid crystallized. One bottle had a number on it and the first 4 digits were 2014. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was that old and stored on the heat all these years. Great product, but was a bad couple of bottles from this seller. I won’t order from them ever again...this was my first purchase from them because their price was lower, but it was also the last. They were returned immediately.

Have used Pool Perfect Plus Phos-Free for years - it works great, highly recommend.However, DO NOT BUY IT FROM BACKYARD POOL SUPERSTORE. They shipped two bottles without the large white caps that serve as measuring cups (see product picture).When contacted, they said they did not have any cups to send to me, which means they purposely shipped defective/incomplete product they labeled as new.

Nothing is a miracle product, but some things, if used as directed actually do what they say. in my experience this product delivers! I have a 25x50 mountain lake pool and this is pretty much all i use each week along with vacuum and backwash to keep clear.

I have a degree in Chemistry and have managed my pool for over 25 years. This product was to eliminate or reduce the level of Phosphates in the pool. The container mimicked other popular brands on the market and the same directions for use. The containers contained a lot of precipitant in the form of white chunks that did not dissolve in water. Because of the size of the pool, most went into the skimmers. After 72 hours with no pressure build up in the filter tank and taking to a pool franchise to have a sample tested, the phosphates had not dropped in the pool at all. The Phosphates were over 900 which was very high. I tried their help department, but it was like talking to a child reading the instructions on the container to me. How frustrating and insulting at the same time. Maybe the product froze and changed it's composition or maybe it never worked at all.

My pool did not have an algae problem and all of my readings were in line except for high phosphates (almost 4000 after a heavy rain storm) so the pool store suggested that I use a phosphate remover. I started with a Natural Chemistry product called Pool Perfect + Phosfree but two 3 liter bottles had very little effect. I was told by the pool store that I needed to use another product with a higher level of chemicals (Lanthanum) so I tried a pro series level called Phos Remover Maximum from the same company and it also had very little effect. Same story for HTH phosphate remover from Home depot. I then tried Orenda PR-10000-QT Phosphate Remover Concentrate and it significantly and very quickly lowered the phosphate level.I called Natural Chemistry to ask about the products that I tried and was told that Pool Perfect + Phosfree is only recommended for maintenance purposes AFTER phosphate levels are already low (100 ppb) and is not designed to reduce high phosphate levels. The Phosfree or Phos Remover Max are recommended for high phosphate levels.The support person said that the key to the strength of a phosphate remover is the amount of Lanthanum that the product has. Unfortunately, none of the product list the ingredients so there isn't a way to tell before you buy. FWIW, in my limited experience, the color of the product may be the best indication. The ones that did not work for me were clear or a slightly opaque tan color. The Orenda product was dark brown and had more of a chemical smell. Also, the Orenda product produced an immediate cloud in the pool as it was poured in and a large amount of precipitate fell out of the water over 24-48 hours. The others produced a small wisp of cloudy water and very little precipitate.

This stuff works, period. Year after year we would deal with algae in our hot Las Vegas pool. After remodeling our pool last fall we decided to look for a remedy for algae on a preventive basis. We discovered this product and gave it a shot. It is as advertised. Using it weekly as prescribed we have have zero algae, run the pump less, and use less chlorine tabs. We have the water tested monthly and have no phosphates. No phosphates means no algae. Buy this and use it as directed and you will be very happy. We are.
