Will fit in a 3/4 scale guitar. Wonderful puck- up
After I ordered thus pickup I was reading product descriptions on similar ones. All of them said " will not mount on a 3/4 scale or parlor guitar." I was bummed. I thought I would go ahead an try, after all im a fairly clever man with a large brain. When it arrived I saw that it was smaller than I thought. Thus is a good thing so I pre-wired the pick- up and tried to slide it in place. To my surprise it slid right in-between the bracing to the 5 o'clock part if the sound hole. I moved it to the1 o'clock position and the same thing. Firs like it was made for thus guitar especially for me. The guitar is a Gretsch parlor guitar. I can't speak for all 3/4 scale guitars but I am delighted about this one. That us only half the story. The sound us everything the descriptor sais it is. I set the volumes at 0 on both pick-ups and then brought up the piezo side up with the tone centered. Sounds like a piezo pickup m, the very thing im trying to get away from. Then added the mics slowly and tge piezo sound melted away replaced with a beautiful warm natual acoustic guitar sound. Tweaked the tone a but and set the phase button. I am already recording live with it and could not be happier. Thankyou for a great product.

It works
OK, for the money (really important) it is OK. the mic sounds distorted, pizzo works well. You are not going to get a good sound out of this. Probably need to look at the ones costing a bit more.If you want to put this on a cheap acoustic, and play through an amp, this will get you there. If you are looking for high end at a cheap price, this will not get you there.

Seems to work good so far.
I’m having to change my review. I found the cause of the static issue and it was my fault. I didn’t have enough of the 1/4” jack sticking out and the guitar cord was not making complete contact. Works now. I may upgrade to a “5” after I got with it.

Great Pickup for your Acoustic
Install was easy (Though, probably because I'm not an expert and my forearms are too dang big, it's not easy to tighten the jack fully in place), and I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged it in. It made my Yamaha sing, and blows the preamp it's replacing out of the water! The built-in mic picks up sound surprisingly well, it's actually almost too sensitive, and the cheap-looking piezo pickup that comes with it also surprised the heck out of me with how well it works.Whether you're replacing an acoustic preamp, installing your first acoustic pickup, or just looking to upgrade, I highly recommend this product!

This thing is awesome!
I'm blown away! It sounds AMAZING! I'm very proficient with repairs and mods and this was an extremely easy install. If you're a beginner please have a professional install. You don't want to ruin your acoustic. The mic/piezo blend sounds awesome.

Difficult to install.
Cord jack ruined during install, had to re-order, because hole drilled larger that stock button hole.

Super unsatisfied
I really would like a refund this thing does not work at all! I took a huge chance and put it on my prized folk acoustic and now I feel foolish for opening that hole. Tried using this with my Mac to record tracks, and needless to say it does diddly squat ! When I finally got it to work for a second it sounded terrible ! This product is not well made or the one I got is defective.

very nice sounding pickup on a 12 string
I installed this on a 1974 Yamaha 12 string dreadnaught, sounds amazing. I was a bit nervous drilling the holes but everything went together well and I was very pleased with the overall sound quality.
