Following in the great English silk tradition of the Stevengraph, our bookmarks use the finest silk threads to produce incredibly detailed images. They are both substantial enough to use as a practical bookmark and yet delicate enough not to distort the pages of your book. Our book marks are made using a single length of our own woven-edge silk ribbon. The ribbon is folded and stitched such that no raw edges show at all.

Beautiful
I bought this for my best friend's 70th birthday. Girl With a Pearl Earring is her favorite painting and she wanted to see it while it was touring the US but unfortunately could not make it to any of the hosting cities. I found this on Amazon and thought it would be a lovely way to remind her of her milestone birthday and also something for her to look at every time she opened a book. It is beautiful, it is woven and very elegant. I was also impressed by the seller--the bookmark came from the UK and the seller penned a personal note. I don't ever remember receiving a personal note from any seller before. The service was excellent.
