Sennheiser GSP 600 Professional Gaming Headset (Renewed)

I bought two of these for my sons (10 &14) after having great luck with some studio senhiezer headphones that have lasted over 10 years. These are just as durable and have amazing sound quality.

I read both ends of the spectrum on these headsets and decided to give them a whirl. The price was right through refurb and to be honest I couldn't have told the difference between new and used. Solid headsets that will take a little getting used to. Noise cancelling is to the max and I have to take one side off to hear conversation. The clarity of these headphones is bar none heads and tails above my hyperx 7's. The mic sounds great when I'm streaming and I mixed this with a GSX 1000 for the 7.1 surround which I also bought refurbed. Amazing combo but you will have to hear for yourself. For some getting used to the feel may take a bit but I actually find them quite comfortable. Excellent, excellent quality!!!

May have just been mine since I bought refurbished, but I had some serious problems getting my microphone audio to go through at an appropriate volume, and when it did it was rather static sounding. The pros of the headset heavily outweigh the cons, especially if you get a standalone mic. Great noise cancelation and damn near perfect audio quality, super comfortable and lots of adjustability.

Solidly built, sounds great and feels good on the ears.

You really need to try them on first, they are very tight. Sound quality lacks a little punch but the overall sound is still really really good.

Bought the "renewed" GSP 600 for a pretty big discount over new. A lot of reviews of some of Sennheiser refurbished items made me a little nervous about my decision. Needless to say I am very happy with what I received 😀. Came in full retail packaging, and it was in perfect condition. The sound is amazing. Significant upgrade over my 6 year old SteelSeries V2's. I have a Sound Blaster Z-Series sound card powering this headset.

I bought these renewed, so there's already a chance I could have a bad time. You'll read lots of horror stories about how renewed items come in dirty, broken, missing parts, etc... Luckily, this item came from a actual Sennheiser outlet location so it came in perfect condition. Beautifully packaged line a brand new pair, so there are no complaints there..Fit/Comfort - I must have a large head because these only fit me at their most extended setting. I had my wife try them on and they fit her perfectly, and her very scientific explanation was, "Well I have a round head and yours is more long, so maybe it's built for people with round heads?". So, if you have a round head, these will fit you fine. I couldn't get the tension right either. They have a pretty strong "clamp force", so my ears would actually end up throbbing after wearing them for an extended time. There are sliders on the top to adjust this, but that really didn't help much. This headset is also way bigger than it needs to be. I knew that before I bought it though, so that's on me. The build quality is sturdy and feels well made.Sound quality - This is where I was most disappointed.. I was willing to live with the fit issues, but the sound quality was a deal breaker for me. I don't know if it was just my renewed pair or if all pair are like this, but the bass was non-existent.. I own studio grade headphones so I know what neutral/flat sounds like, and these are all highs. During gaming you won't really notice that much, but if you plan on using them for music listening then you might have problems. I tried this headset with several different genres of music and it only excelled in acoustic/vocals. If you're into any rap or heavy dubstep, forget about it. Even when listening to rap, the high end was almost so high that it hurt my ears. Definitely had to turn them down.. This was ultimately the reason I returned them. For the price, even being renewed, I expected far better fit and performance..I returned these and went with a pair of Cooler Master MH-752's. Amazing fit (for my "long head"), and amazing sound quality.

This is basically a high end Sennheiser headset. same drivers as higher end models. Extremely comfortable headband adjustment to contour the shape of your head. Adjustable earcup positioning and velour earcups. Can wear all day.
