When screwed together the material will form a tight seal, but for extra tight seal on walls it is recommended to apply a bead of silicone to all the wall connections. POOR WORKMANSHIP
Soon as radiant heat panel was put in 3 hours later inside enclosure started peeling off, dont trust this enclosure. Was told by person in company oh this doesn't happen, so why would I make this up, numerous other flaws with the workmanship of this enclosure..was going to work with these other flaws, but when brand new enclosure starts coming apart at the first feel of heat, well this is not a reptile enclosure that will hold up, 3 hours people!!!! My python needs a new home, doesnt look like this is the one. Unbelievable. Oh was remarked to about my problem with this, guy says you put a radiant heat panel inside???? Duh, your description clearly stated this is the way to go..RIDICULOUS....pro products radiant heat panel the best, but hey this couldn't take the 85 temp past 3 hours, so defective...waste of money, and even if reseal I don't trust the rest of the flimsy lining is going to stand up...look elsewhere, price was inviting, free ship, etc but description stated was a decent smart secure enclosure for my python..my mistake...
