4 inch All Cotton Futon Mattress (8 in. - Queen: 60 W x 80 D (50 lbs.))

Both my husband and I (we both weigh under 150 lbs each) woke up SUNK into the 'deep indents' your body makes from sleeping on it after just the FIRST night! Just TERRIBLE mattress...naturally killing your back since you wind up sleeping in a 'hole', and good luck trying to 'fluff' it up again...the thing weighs a ton! SO SORRY we ever bought this....at now a loss of over $200! I should have bought such a large item at Walmart as they would have taken it back and refunded us and there wouldn't have been a shipping loss either by taking it back to store location. Will NEVER buy something this big (and expensive) via online shipping again. Too much of a gamble and who can afford to just throw $200 away? Now we are in search of another mattress (which will cost us even more due to this loss).

This futon is extremely comfortable!

May not be used as full time futon bed as it forms depression in the center of the Bed and you need to sleep on the sides to overcome it.

Best mattress ever, this is my second purchase, will buy only from Gold Bond. No odors, no chemicals, durable, and most importantly, very comfortable.

I would give a 0 star or negative if this was an option.My recommendation is: DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS unless you plan to throw it away after 3 month!!!I bought this mattress (All Cotton Futon Mattress - Queen, by Gold Bond) in September 20, 2015 . I liked this mattress in the beginning because it is claimed as "all cotton" by the company. Starting around Christmas of 2015 (about 3 months after purchase), I started experiencing upper back pain and stiffness that woke me up in the middle of the night every night and pain/stiffness every morning. Initially I did not realize that the pain was caused by the mattress. I went to see my doctor, had physical therapy, and used NSIADS and muscle relaxant to relive the pain, which has cost me hundreds of dollars - more than triple of the mattress price! But my back pain would get worse again every night and morning when I slept on this mattress. This has been a persistent pattern for the past month so I inspected the mattress and found that it had become unevenly compacted - some areas are thicker and some areas are thinner and hard especially where I sleep on. I never had back pain before. It was the mattress that caused my back pain. I requested return but the company declined my request. I then called Amazon customer service (on 1/23/2015) and spoke to the customer service specialty person, who said "I am sorry to hear the problem but there is nothing else we can do. You can re-sell the mattress on Amazon for a portion of the purchase price". I was so surprised to hear his suggestion - want me to sell the defect mattress on their website to harm another customer? I said I would not do so, he then said "or you can dispose it but there is nothing else we can do". I am very disappointed by the low quality of the mattress as well as Amazon's customer service.Above was my true and real story and experience with this mattress and Amazon.
