I was hesitant to try these, but they do work! We have 2 small children and just bought new furniture, so I have been looking for something to protect our investment. Will they last forever? No- I expect to replace them all at least yearly since we use these chairs daily, but since we were dumb enough to buy nice, new furniture with small children it's the price we will have to pay!Pros: My kids have spilled pasta sauce and cups of milk on these and the chair cushions still look like new! Nothing has leaked onto the fabric yet! The chairs still look nice and the fabric color matches our decor.Cons: because we have rails on the back, the flap does not allow us to protect the very back of the chair (but that may be more related to the size of our chairs). The stains are not always easy to remove from the covers since these need to be washed on delicate. Also one got put on a chair inside out (don't ask) and it separated the pul from the fabric at some seams, so we had to trash it.

Since these are unavailable, not sure of the value in writing a review. But. These do a nice job of protecting the seat if you don't have a wiggly kid. If you do, the cover will end up always flopped over to the side, which, as you can imagine, means it doesn't protect the upholstery. Got a not-so-lovely ketchup stain on white upholstery that way. I ended up purchasing some elastic bands designed to hold sheet corners in place. They have 3 "arms" and clips on the end. I've used them to lock the covers in place, whih makes them look less attractive, but they haven't slipped out of place since. I'm torn on the rating, since it seems like I shouldn't need to buy something extra to make these work for their intended purpose. They do work with this addition.I cannot make them work on the captain's chairs that are in the dining set, though.

These are nice covers. I ended up with 6. We moved last year and went from a formal dining room and nook table to just the dining room table. So to keep the chairs from being destroyed by my young children I had to get some covers. These have been fabulous. They cloth on top so they are soft no matter what you are wearing. I had read reviews about washing them so I always wash and hang dry. they don't take too long. One thing I do have to do though is make sure the Velcro is put together before washing otherwise the Velcro with get a mind of its own during the washing cycle and attach to the cloth material and create snags. other then that I just spray the stain remover and wash like normal. They've been on the chairs for almost 18 months now and are holding up great. I will buy them again when the time comes.

These chair covers are perfect - just what I needed for my dining room chairs. They are seagrass parsons chairs & I have a square cushion on each one. The problem I had previously was not spills or messy kids but cat hair - our two cats love to curl up on these chairs & nap, leaving the cushions hairy. Now with these covesr in place, the cats can nap there, the chairs still look attractive & elegant with the covers on & I simply remove the covers right before we have company for dinner - the cushions stay hair free! Because the chairs have a solid back, I simply fold under the back flap of the chair cover as it is not needed. The fabric is soft & comfortable - washes well & looks great after. So glad I found this product!! Thank you!!

Quality of seat covers is excellent. We've tried less expensive vinyl and fabric ones and these are really well made. Fabric is somewhat stretchy and has a smooth, slightly glossy sheen with a rubbery waterproof coating on the underside that keeps it from slipping off. Sturdy stitching and professional hemming all around, crisp corners and edges, wide velcro band across the back with a privacy flap to cover the back band "elegantly." These should fit an upholstered dining chair perfectly that has no arms. Did I mention the stylish packaging...a chair back?I ordered covers in Simply Linen in June 2012. The picture online shows a beige/light brown color. I received a cream-colored chair seat cover (essentially a white cover) that did not match the picture.I will update this review when I receive the Creamy Brown/Tan covers.

I have to downgrade my review. Its still fits, and looks nice but any stain on the cover will stay and will not come off in the wash without leaving a black mark on the fabric. Clearly with young kids you will hope you can wash this and that it will look close to new.I have tested few brads for my chairs and those have the best fit and best look.My only note will be to make the back drop part fit better or look more like one unit.

These fit great on my dining chairs. I would say these would fit a traditional dining chair better but not fit a parsons chair or bigger ones. These have saved the upholstery from all sorts of mess.However They sent me the wrong color, I did contact Amazon and the company for sending the right color but wasn't contacted back. Otherwise they are good and waterproof. I would recommend.

These covers are great. They are big enough to fit my dining room chairs. They stay in place too. I haven't needed to wash them yet, so I don't know how they'll be after that. I didn't give the fifth star because of that and because of the little flap on the back of the cover. I folded it under.
