I wish I used this sooner!
Absolutely love this! Works great and creates a nice lather. If you receive a tube with grainy or sandy texture, it was a bad batch from the manufacturer. I returned it for a full refund and purchased again. been using this for over a year now and previously used Barbasol. Make the change now for a smoother shave and less dry skin.

Good for sensitive skin
I have a sensitive skin and this works. I have been buying this for sometime now, it soothes my skin and I don’t even use after shave after using this.

Perfect for sensitive skin
I have extremely sensitive skin. Very few things work for me, and this does. I've found shaving soaps that work too, but most mornings I don't have time to mess with soap and a mug. Using Proraso is much quicker for me.I also use their pre-shave, which I also recommend.

Very nice, would definitely buy again.
Consistency of the cream was fine, not separated or runny.Used about an inch of cream in my palm, loaded onto the brush directly and it formed a nice lather. Nice smooth shave, no irritation and pleasant smell.I like the tube for travel, no bowl necessary.Would definitely buy again.

Great product, but it should be fragrance free - or at least not use a citrus scent - stings
This product does its job VERY well. Very slick and gives a good cushion when you are shaving, with not much work to make a decent lather. However, I have one major gripe with it, the scent of this product. This is supposed to be the sensitive formula so at best it should be fragrance free. However, it does have a fragrance, and on top of that it's a citrus-y fragrance, which if you have shaved the previous day will sting - quite noticeably. So, if your face can handle it, thats great and it will work well, but if it does sting, you know why

Love this product
I like this for shaving legs, underarms, and bikini area. It has some soft like beads that help exfoliate skin prior to shaving. Gentle on bikini area. This is probably primarily a man’s product so the smell is not feminine but I like the shave so it’s not a deal breaker for me.this company is out of Italy and has been in business for a long time and this product has been around the same. I trust products like that and that’s why I decided to try it. My skin is sensitive and this product gave me a close shave with no irritation or dryness. I will be buying this product again. This product is easy to put in a TSA approved bottle for travel as well. A little goes a long way and you can control the consistency from cream to more soapy.I personally like the container it comes in. I usually use a bikini aftershave gel but with this product you can forego it with out any issues and with its ingredients that exfoliate just right you can forgo a prepping body scrub. Personally I like a product that streamlines the amount of products you have to use; it saves time and money and these days more than ever that is an important point for consumers and without sacrificing quality.

No irritating allergen formula by Proraso? Yes please!
If you've tried other formulations of Proraso (namely the tube formulations), you know it's going to be a great shave. This sensitive skin version is no exception, it delivers a slick, cushiony lather, whether you face or bowl (scuttle, mug, or what have you) and brush lather. Like the other versions, the lather retains moisture very well, so no drying out on your face or in your bowl.If you're finding that irritation is a problem, and you're bouncing from blade manufacturer to blade manufacturer, try this formula. I know some folks have a sensitivity to nickel, or sometimes the hyper-scientific marketing termed blade coatings; this problem is no joke. This formula, with green tea and oatmeal may be just the ticket.Want to try it? Preparation is key for this experiment, so let your face or scalp rest for a few days, to heal and rest; just deal with the stubble, and let the haters hate. Mount up your trusted, tried-and-true blade of choice, and lather up with the sensitive skin magical brew, and have yourself a shave. Be mindful of your technique, because you'll be more aware of how this formula provides such a solid and pleasant cushion and glide for your razor. Done shaving? Great now hold up...Don't use your usual post-shave routine. Got an alum block? If not, get one. I suggest the Proraso block, it's made in ITALY, not CHINA...so you can have a bit more confidence that the block is alum, not some mystery composition. After applying the alum, wait a full minute, and rinse with COLD water, then PAT, not wipe or rub your face dry. Give yourself at least thirty seconds, and apply the sensitive skin post-shave balm, you don't want to use something with alcohol in it, which may dry out your freshly shaved face or scalp. Next? Reap the benefits of a great shave, without the usual irritation. As always, YMMV with any and all shaving related products.Just a personal note about the fragrance. This formula has what I'd describe as a citrus-like scent. I find it clean, and refreshing. But, you know how it goes, others categorize it as awful. I would say that it is nowhere near as polarizing as the scent of ARKO (urinal cake, anyone?). If you like some of the grapefruit smelling citrus based shaving soaps, creams, and aftershave stuff out there, this will not disappoint.

Shaving cream isn't supposed to be gritty.....
As a current Proraso user, I know the product and manufacturer are great - highly recommended. The issue with my purchase is most likely with the vendor as the product appears to have been exposed to extreme temperature swings and has completely broken down. I've been a wet shaver for decades and I've never had a product that was this runny and gritty. When applied to the skin, these tiny, white grainy "balls" are spread all over the face and they don't really break down regardless of the amount of moisture applied. I even tried to knead the tube in an attempt to blend the cream, but that didn't work at all. This particular tube has all the hallmarks of being stored for a long period of time in a swap meet shipping container. Also, as Amazon ships in plastic bags, the tube was out of it's box inside the bag and the box itself was flattened. Lesson for me - go back to my reputable vendor who actually uses small cardboard boxes for shipping and who doesn't store inventory in the heat in a shipping container! It's definitely worth the extra shipping cost.
