SPEEDFEED Remington Sport Stock Set (1100 12 Gauge)

mounted up yesterday with no problems on my 1100, I had to file some plastic pieces off the recoil pad so it would pop into the stock, but it really wasn't a big deal. Feels nice when mounted and a little lighter than the original stock and forearm but not significant. I bought this because my original stock was chipped and I wanted something that didn't need too much maintence.

Fits my Remington 1100 perfectly. The LOP is a smidgen too long for my liking. This is a good quality stock, very strong material. On a hunting gun this would be great. For a tactical build you might consider the Speedfeed Remington IV 13-Inch Tactical Short Stock. I would recommend this to a friend any day.

This was a decent product that worked for my Remington 1100. Could not use the spacer that was needed between the old wood buttstock and the receiver. Also had to run to the hardware to to pick up a few washers to use as a spacer for the receiver nut and the new synthetic stock. Without the washers the buttstock would not completely tighten down, even though the nut was torqued down hard.

Bolted right up to my '87 model 1100 with no problems. Just be sure to remove the steel pressure plate from the receiver before installing. That way, no modifications to the stock are required. That plate is only there to help strengthen the fragile wood stocks that will crack with time anyway. Cracks will never be a problem with this Speedfeed set though.

Easy to install, very pleased with performance.
