This product is truly amazing. I started experiencing some temporary hair loss due to stress, particularly around my hairline, and at my crown and a friend recommended Toppik. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it—wow. It’s like magic in a bottle! It has become a must-have in my beauty toolkit. Although my hairline has started to recover, I still use it when I need a little extra volume. It’s subtle, effective, and gives instant results, that generally lasts until it's washed out. I thought this product was just some kind of gimmick but it actually does what it says really well. I have some thinning around my hairline and on my crown but a few sprinkles of this makes it look very solid and it’s not noticeable in any negative way. Once it’s in it seems to stay in, you can touch your hair without residue or staining. The only criticism I have is that you have to careful when applying it because it will stick to your skin. However it will come off your skin with a moist wipe or damp towel pretty easy but still stays stuck to your hair.

Speechless. I tried this on a whim and couldn’t believe the results. I had a very close friend of 30 years (I knew he would be 1000% honest with me) get super close to my scalp and he said it just looks like hair. The pics are from the first time I used it, not really knowing what I’m doing. We were both amazed as was anyone else that saw it. Wife loved it too. I’m a believer. Wish I would’ve found this sooner!

So, if you're bothering to read reviews about anything like this in your ongoing battle with baldness, then let me be clear, right up front - the hair loss is winning the war. To terribly misquote Jim Morrison, "No hair gets out of here alive".... So, you're hoping against all odds that some miracle product will be a cheap, effective, undetectable cure-all in your fight against genetics or disease...well, the good news is THIS PRODUCT KIND OF WORKS. Let me be as transparent as the fine little hairs you're hoping will grow on your head - if you have some hair, but it's thinning pretty bad, this stuff will make it look fuller and hide some of the dreaded scalp showing through - however, if you plan on people getting really close to it, you can see the toppik on your scalp (at least, the dark colors show up if you're Caucasian or light skinned) - but this should work well for a job interview, a date in a restaurant, an acting/theatre gig, maybe even a family gathering - but if you plan on getting lucky and he/she not noticing the smudges on the pillow in the morning, you are out of luck....If battling hair loss is what you're up against, then Toppik is, metaphorically, another tool in the tool box. Use it with along with everything else - but use it in moderation. Too much and you're a powdered, bald donut.Finally, don't blindly listen to the claims by some of these Amazon reviewers saying it's "amazing" and "no one noticed" - because, if anyone looked close enough, they probably could tell you've got cornstarch type colored powder layering your nearly hairless scalp. On the other hand, don't listen to all these complainers saying it doesn't work at all or that it's garbage - they're just angry, balding trolls with sweaty scalps who were just hoping to find a dirt cheap solution to a problem that has plagued men and women forever. If you have little or no hair, this product really won't work - but if you're in the middle of your hair-less fight, you'll have some pretty good luck with this. I hope this review helps - as I'm someone who's done Bosley, Propecia, Rogaine, Toppik, Tocotrienols and have had some luck with all of them. If, after my long winded review you're still unsure (and you should be) then buy the tiny cheap bottle of Toppik (it will set you back around $10 with shipping) - it's a small price to pay to see if a product works for you. I have trichotillomania (that means I pull my hair out) and some resulting bald spots. This product has made a huge difference for me. I shake it on the spots where I have pulled and the fibers magically attach to my surrounding hair to camouflage the patchy areas. It can be a little messy if I’m not careful, and I sometimes have transfer to my pillow overnight, but it’s totally worth it.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and overall it does a decent job at filling in thinning areas. It definitely makes my hair look fuller and more even, especially from a distance or in regular indoor lighting. Application is easy and it blends in well with my natural hair color (I got the black).

This product is amazing for covering up areas of thinning hair. I've tried other brands and they just don't compare - this one releases the perfect amount of product with each shake (vs ending up with a giant clump of product in one spot) and the color is very natural/not too artificial looking. Definitely recommend!

This item arrived quickly, which is why I ordered it from Amazon. I also ordered the screw-on applicator. However, the bottle of fibers isn't made with a removable sifter, so I am unable to use the applicator like I ordered. I would certainly appreciate a container that will allow me to spray this product on my head, instead of having to shake it on. I like the product, so I'll keep it, but I'll be going to the company to buy it from now on, so I can guarantee that I'll get what I paid for.
